Snowcones!

My husband uses it at least once a week! Great product

Poor internal mechanism failed after a year.

Used this for one summer several times and enjoyed it. Put the parts away for winter. When we got it back out we found that the main upper housing does not connect with the driving shaft that is screwed into it anymore. Took the metal shaft mechanism (that ends in a square profile post), and looked inside the white main unit. There appears to be something missing or broken off, because the metal shaft no longer connects to the gear mechanism. We have no idea what happened, but what a total bumme...

Fast and perfect snowball shaved ice!

I have owned many ice shavers. Thus is fantastic. Fast , great texture for snowballs. Grandkids love it ! Clean up simple.

KitchenAid over the years

Have had the shave ice attachment for a 3 years. I love it! I have a lot of the attachments. Nothing was not worth it. Even use the larger appliances in my kitchen. My KitchenAid appliances have all been reliable.

Simple shaved ice !

It attaches quickly and shaves the ice cube in record time The texture is great for snowballs The cube makes enough ice for a kids size snow cone I have pre frozen a bag full of cubes that you make in the 4 containers that come with attachment.

Very disappointed

I bought this two weeks ago and finally put it together to try. It wasn’t too hard to figure out how to put the machine together. I took the ice puck out and let it sit for 10 minutes and then when I tried to shave it, it came out so slow. It was ridiculous. The ice was melting before it could even get done so you would have a bowl of water by the time you were done. I tried the coarser blade and that wasn’t any better. I’m going to be looking for some videos, but I don’t see any video that actu...

Wonderful attachment

After spending a month in Hawaii this summer we came home with strong cravings for shave ice. This attachment does the trick! We have even made a savory shave ice gazpacho which was delicious. Highly recommended.

Kids Super Excited for Snow Cones

Kids were super excited to make snow cones, but the the ice cup broke the second time we used it. I have looked for a replacement part but it does not appear that it can be purchased separately. Will be calling Kitchen Aid but they are only open Mon-Friday.

I already own a well-known brand ice shaver maker but this KitchenAid ice shaver attachment looked so simple that I purchased it, tried and absolutely love it. I purchased three more to gift to family members.

This is the most used attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer. Shaved ice is a year round treat in our house now. My family loved it so much that we gifted one to my mother-in-law! Like all things there are pros and cons. Pros: Quality fluffy shaved ice Less noisy than my old (cheap) shaved ice machine You can buy more ice molds and replacement blades Cons: The pucks have to freeze for 24 hours and you only get 4 molds. Fantastic quality, no added cost of a motor

Watched a couple Youtube videos to get the swing of the sequence of operations, but it's very intuitive. Just be easy on it and don't force the parts. They click together easily once in the right alignment. Ice puck should be brought up from freezer temperature (which could be 0°F) at room temperature for a few minutes to get a glassy melty surface ready for the blade. I used the coarse blades initially and the shave was better than any of the snocones I've made prior! So excited to try the fine shave blade. This is so worth it, your kids and family will be so happy!
