Summertime Anytime!

We bought this so we could make Halo-halo, a Filipino iced dessert. Two blades are included. One for making fine shavings the other coarse. The attachment and parts are intuitive. Making it a snap to install and clean. The skies the limit with all of Kitchen Aid’s attachments!

Good results, easy to use

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaved ice attachment is easy to use and makes great shaved ice. The containers you freeze the ice in are small though, and did not come with many containers but you could freeze a bunch a head of time and pop them into a plastic bag in the freezer. My kids love it and it’s a great way to keep cool easily in the heat in Texas!

A great attachment for summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been looking at this attachment for my kitchen Aid mixer for awhile. My grandkids were visiting for a month so I figured now was the time. It was easy to assemble and use. The kids loved the shaved ice especially since they could custom make their flavor. Glad I picked this up.

Fun treat on a hot day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a well built attachment that works great. We have been using it for nice treats on a hot day. I would suggest getting a few more of the ice molds if you are going to be doing a lot of shaved ice, since one puck of ice is pretty small. Clean up is easy, and it even makes good adult drinks!

Excellent fun add-on for KA mixer

They used it to make shaved ice drinks for a graduation party, and it worked great. Made a lot of fun drinks, with light fluffy snow. Im sure we will be using it extensively this summer as it's so simple and easy. Works great and very quick as long as you have prepared enough frozen "pucks" in advance. Good for home use produces a finely shaved ice

Pros: creates fine ice for snow cones, works very quickly, convenient and doesn't take a lot of time to make a dessert. It's very easy to clean, and comes with multiple ice freezing containers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was really easy to setup to our KitchenAid. My wife could not wait to connect and start making this work. Only thing is you must use their special shaped ice tray to use on this machine. My kids loved it!

The shaved ice attachment is easy to attach to the mixer, use and clean. My kids love shaved ice and it's so convenient to make it ourselves at home now. I really like that you can freeze juice to make the shaved ice with instead of using syrup.

Soft shaved ice for the summer!!
