Lowe's installation team was most professional.

Appears to be a well made dishwasher that is relatively a quiet operation

Didn't make it three years

Bought during 4th of July 2 years and 11 months ago. Have replaced the control board and two pumps. Not thrilled with spending $1k on a dishwasher +$450 on parts and labor only to be told, there's nothing we can do and it's time to get a new one less than 3 years after purchasing. Not what I would have expected from KitchenAid. Very disappointed.

wow great job

It was a hard decision to make on a dishwasher so many brands and features I was interested in durability and getting a good job done efficiency I reviewed a lot of brands and decided on Kitchen aid Still not sure on leak issues Now I have had it for a month and WOW it does a fantastic job quiet no moisture left on top of cups Lots of choice for cycles I would Highly recommend this dishwasher no fancy features but so clean does a great job ...

Unclear instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unclear instructions on use. Conflicting replies when I asked chats what goes into the "pre wash" holder. One rep said one should NOT put the dishwashing pod there, but just drop it into the tub. Another said to put the regular washing pods into the "pre wash" holder. After washing, and after opening the door, the "clean" light is still on. No instructions on how to turn it off. Emailing customer service led nowhere.

KitchenAid Dishwasher

Heated dry setting is subpar

The dishwasher does not do a very good heated dry. The dishes still come out wet. There is also no option for heated dry on the express wash setting.

Fair dishwasher

Dishwasher is ok but the bar on it blocks me opening the drawer it sticks out too far so you have to open dishwasher to be able to open drawer

Bad features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a kitchen aid dishwaher with this one. The top rack on the new one has a horrible design. Slightly flatish bowls don't fit well in the middle (they fall) and if you put them more on the side you can't fit glasses on that side. Glasses rock and won't stay up when you put them in the row next to the edge. Normal wash with heat dry takes about 2 1/2 hours and dishes are not totally dry like they were in the old dishwasher.

Design Flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchenaid placed the steam vent on the front panel in this model. It collects condensation during the dry cycle (dishes are never dry) and then dumps the water onto your floor when you open the door. I wish I would have read the reddits on this. Im uninstalling it and sending it back.

works fine. finish sucks after a short time.

put this in about 18 months ago. we're happy with how it works and how quiet it runs. not happy with the finish. rust is starting to creep in around the controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new dishwasher. We use to practically wash the dishes prior to an hour wash cycle with our 20 year old dishwasher. Now we scrap, load and wash on the speed cycle and the dishes are sparkling clean.

Reliable without the bells and whistles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work great so far! Dishwasher come out clean. The drawers are a lot more sturdy then some other brands we looked at and it has very basic functions. It's like a high quality dishwasher without the extra features like the 3rd silverware drawer which I miss. It's also slightly louder than our old Bosch 800 sries but still quiet. It's not disruptive at all. We like that it still has a heat coil where so many others have eliminated theirs....

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet, but the racks seem to be layed out strange. Our dishes don't seem to set correctly, the slots for the silverware can't take wide handles, and the wine glass holders don't really fit our glasses.
