annoying control panel

Purchased this dishwasher June 2023. Started noticing a little rust? glue? along the top of the door where the control panel is installed. It washes the dishes just fine. It is quiet. The control panel is in a very annoying location. Always touching it when I open or close the door and it turns something on.

I tried ordering this item. The estimated delivery date was Friday about a week away from when I ordered it. Friday comes so I call to figure out around what time it will be delivered. They changed the estimated delivery date to the Friday after so I would have to wait another week. Rusting after three months!

We replaced some kitchen appliances with this dishwasher, the double oven range and fitting microwave hood. Rusted side rails!!!

After 15 months of use the side rails where the basket pulls out started rusting. I just got off the phone with kitchenaid about this, they refuse to send me parts to replace because its out of the 12 months warranty. VERY DISSAPOINTED in such a large company and an expensive purchase, I didn't think a $1000 dishwasher would rust so fast and them refusing to send parts, but they want me to purchase them. Machine Designer Review: DON’T BUY!

My old dishwasher worked, but it was 20 years old. I wanted to replace it. So i went to Lowes and after looking at it, I purchased it. Had a plumber install it. Makes my glasses sparkle!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just moved into our new build and have been using this dishwasher nonstop to clean dishes that have been in storage for 2+ yrs. Cleans BEAUTIFULLY. haven't had a chance to test it on super super icky dishes, but it's been cleaning general dinner dishes really well. Love that there's enough space on the top for tall glasses/wine glasses, and can still put bigger bowls on the bottom. It's also SUPER quiet, which is a must for us.

I think I made a good choice with Kitchen Aid

Read reviews and watched video reviews of dishwashers. All dishwashers (except one) bounced up or down as reliable depending on who rated. Kitchen Aid usually rated fairly reliable. Silverware container not adequate for normal use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher adequately cleans the dishes. Still finding some that have food left. But better than my Whirlpool that left most dishes dirty. I really hate the silverware container. I don’t understand who designed this feature. It has slots for silverware that are so tiny that nothing would fit in it. Consequently there is a limit to silverware cleaning in a load of dishes.
