NEW KITCHENAID MICROWAVE OVEN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2005, I bought same KITCHENAID microwave oven,which lasted for 15 months with no way of repair after several tries. I decide One More try for KITCHENAID product because my ovens and dishwasher are functioning great. So far so good, and hope good luck this time.

Could this microwave be installed in the island? Just like a drawer??

So disappointed!

Bought this microwave to match the rest of our KitchenAid appliances. We installed this at standard height but the door doesn’t fully open so it is too high to get hot food out safely. Extremely disappointed in the microwave and the customer service.

Too powerful?!?

(As an adult I couldn’t reach above double ovens!) I think it’s set a little lower because of our counter top than preferred. The door is heavy to open and close. Classy look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love the exterior design of this microwave, I have a hard time reaching the interior if food items are in the very back. Because the door opens out instead of to the side, I have to reach beyond it and sometimes cannot retrieve items I put inside. That being said, I am only 5 feet tall! :) Glad I am married to a man who is 6 feet!

Better then a stove

Door sensors broken from factory (not kidding)

Disappointed. Faulty door sensors from factory. Servicer ordered parts on backorder indefinitely. Lowes is ordering a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just remodeled my kitchen and I purchased this microwave oven. Easy to use and looks so good. It gives you many options in cooking, reheating and defrosting. The inside capacity is more than ample. I use large glass cookware and I have plenty of height for these items. I would highly recommend this microwave.

Defective light bulb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After maybe a dozen uses, the interior light bulb stopped working. This is a part that is not accessible to the consumer and is not covered under warranty. It was necessary for a repair technician to come to the house to replace the defective bulb. A house call to replace a light bulb. Really?

great ,ocrpwave, but...

Built a house 3 yrs ago. All Kitchenaid appliances- refridge, microwave, dishwasher, 5 burner gas stove, wall oven. Love the clean lines, handle accents, crisp look in the kitchen. Microwave went out jan 2020. Had it repaired 3 times, finally gave up and bought a new one. Magnatron went out 3 times, repaced capaciter and diaode. The only thing that wasnt replaced was the transformer. That was the most expensive item. Bought the same model this week, also took out an additional 3 yr warra...

A little disappointed

It’s it a location that is overhead, our previous microwave door opened at 90 degree angle making it a little easier yo use. Unfortunately that is not the case with this microwave and makes it a little harder yo pit things in.

Just got it installed

We literally just hot the microwave installed and I was instantly shocked that I could not see inside so as to monitor what I was cooking. My 10year old GE advantium had and the small microwave on my counter have bright lights and clear glass so I can see if something is about to boil over. The cost of this microwave is too high to have something as stupid as that wrong with it. I am going to try to get used to this although I can tell my husband is already nervous about the situation. Looks great and works as well
