Would not recommend for the price….

We purchased this microwave in 2018 and it has broken on numerous occasions. First a warning would say oven is too hot. Needs to cool down. This would be after heating something for two minutes only. Now it will not heat anything at all. Also the pull door is a very awkward height and it is hard to reach in and get out items that have stopped on the far back of the microwave. Would not recommend this product, especially for the price will be switching to GE.

Beautiful Microwave

Cheapened design is short on quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel is cheap plastic and should be glass. This is an overpriced microwave that’s also anemic on power. For a luxury brand like KA it should be made like a high end product. Shame on KA for cheap king this unit!

Poor Appliance

This Microwave came with our new home in October 2017.Was never used very much as it was installed over a cabinet with a fold down door. However, in early January 2018 the clock went out and the microwave would not heat. Repairman came out and replaced a high voltage diode at a cost over $100. A week later the microwave stopped working again. Repairman came out and said it had a bad magnetron and wanted over $500 to replace it. Have never repaired it. Went to Walmart and purchased a counter top ...

Fifteen years

Put this in when I rebuilt our kitchen fifteen years ago. Still looks and works as new. Super high quality.

DO NOT BUY - LCD PROBLEMS

Put this microwave in our remodeled kitchen in September 2020 because it matched the Kitchen Aid double oven. The LCD display went out within the first year. It was replaced under warranty in Fall 2021. Now two years later, it is doing the same thing. The LCD display isn’t readable. Don’t buy this microwave. Other brand microwaves have last more than ten years.

Very weak microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item because of the limited space I had to deal with. I was worried about it accommodating my larger casserole dishes with lids, but I was amazed at the large capacity that met my needs. I am concerned about the power compared to my last microwave. It is not as powerful and takes longer to cook. The popcorn setting was a little too long and my popcorn burnt. It looks good in my kitchen.

Bulb change requires removal, disassembly

When the halogen bulb eventually dies, you will need to completely remove the microwave from the wall and disassemble it in order to change the bulb. This is an unacceptable design flaw.

It goes so well with my ovens and my Kitchen Aid Induction cook top. The built in in so much better than the over the range. We love the sensor it is perfect for reheating or for the mini bag of popcorn.

Great looks,works well but not easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the look as it sits above my Kitchenaid convection wall oven. Love the minute + as well as the dial to get the timing perfect. The cool down feature is nice. But with the drop down door, it is REALLY hard to reach to the back to wipe it down. I'm 5' 9" tall and was complaining to my short neighbor. She has to get a step stool out to clean hers that is similar. Wish the door came off like the wall oven does!!!!!

High end microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace a built in microwave. This unit was clearly a step up in quality. Features are great. The included trim kits work for 3 different widths (24", 27", 30") but we needed to refashion the previous trim kit to adjust for height.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced previous 15 year olds model. Thought it strange nothing changed in 15 years. It's the only microwave that would fit in the same space. Not being able to set timer for fractional amounts is a negative (can't set 7.5 minutes, only 6 or 7). I get "door open" warning like I did on previous model (the main reason I bought this one), must be a mechanical flaw. Just doesn't happen as often. Cooks fine.
