Nice enhancement
Would RecommendHolds the charcoal up a bit and you can remove the iron grate. So now the grill is easier to start due to better air flow. And now, much easier to clean the ash and left over charcoal.

A must have, with 1 little problem
Would Recommendthe basket makes everything easier, lighting a fire, hotter fire, better air flow, easier clean up, and overall better grilling experience. The 1 drawback is the basket doesn't fix the best in my my Big Joe classic 1, and like all Kamado products, it is a bit pricey.

Would Not RecommendNot all that happy with this purchase. With this addition my heat deflectors do not sit flat anymore. Basket gets in the way. I do get more air flow which is one of the reasons I wanted this but I think I use more fuel too because of it. Expensive add on that’s not needed.

Absolutely need this! Don’t wait, just buy it! Makes cleanup 95% easier & after using a slow & sear with my kettle grill & a drum smoker this basket saves the cost of it in saved reusable charcoal. Just close vents, let coals cool, shake off, light & reuse! Worth every penny & pays for itself
