Would Not RecommendThe KBJ charcoal basket doesn't fit into the Kamado Joe Classic preventing the diffuser plates from sitting flat and snugly on top of it due to the hooks it comes with. The hooks are meant to hang off the flexible cooking rack to enable the ash basket to be easily lifted out with it, however with the charcoal basket resting on the bottom of the ceramic firebox the hooks of the basket then stick out above where they should and don't hang on the flexible cooking rack as they should.
