I'm falling for you

No more slamming of the seat. After buying a "newly renovated" home, we are seeing some of the shortcuts they took, including cheap thin plastic seats. Now it's safe to sit on the closed throne to dry the toes without feeling like you're gonna fall through. YAY

Replacement elongated toilet seat

The replacement seat fits perfectly and the slow close lids work like a charm. The seat is also very comfortable. Good product for the low price.

Broke 5 days after purchasing

Installed this toilet seat and 5 days later where the toilet seat is bolted to the toilet the plastic tab snapped off on the one side. I took it back and bought an American toilet seat that has a complete tab surrounding the bolt.

I was looking for a replacement seat in my home. I was replacing a seat that lasted seven years. I looked at and examined all of the seats that Lowes had on display. This seat met my expectations for a seat that would last more than seven years. It was in my opinion the best seat for the money. Easy install.

I had my 15 year old install it and she said it was easy. Works great. No issues at all.

Trouble with Seat

When I lift the ring seat it starts to fall back down. It usually stays in place once I push it back in position the second time. In other words it's aggravating.

Good, but...

The seat is fine. The main issue I have is that the caps that cover the hinges for easy removal keep popping up and if not noticed prior to sitting, the seat will move around and unattach itself. It is annoying to have to remember to close the caps each time. The seat also doesn't want to stay up the first time and you have to hold it for a couple of seconds in order to keep it in the upright position. Good 4 years

Liked the seat for our Persuade Toilet, but after 4 good years, fluid came out of it which Im guessing is associated with the slow close mechanism. now it slams closed. not what i expected for the price we paid.

Easy close

This seat is really nice to slowly close. Really like this feature.

We had a Kohler reveal seat that cracked and Lowes wouldn't let us return it because it was a "Bio-hazard". We hated it because it slid all over and we couldn't put a cover on it. When it broke I replaced it with this one which will allow a cover and no more sliding. Also, I called Kholer and they sent out a replacement for the broken seat.
