The main feature of this seat is the slow closing. The hidden feature is that you can remove the entire seat without tools for EASY cleaning down to the hardware that the seat clamps on to. No more cleaning around and behind the seat. Then you can lay the seat in the sink and clean it standing up, with easy access to all surfaces.

Uncomfortable to sit on.

This is the seat that came with our new Kohler toilet that a contractor installed for us. The slow close feature is nice to have, but it does not make up for the uncomfortable design. It also has a tendency to wobble a bit because it is made of slightly flimsy plastic, so I suspect it will not stand the test of time. Great Fit--Stable

This toilet seat fits well and does not slide around like the three other self-closing seats I have purchased in the past few years.

Great replacement

This is much more comfortable than Reveal. I like Cachet also.

Great upgrade

We bought a different slow close seat when we ordered our toilets from a plumbing supply house. They wouldn't stay firmly on top of the bowl and felt unsafe. We purchased these Kohler replacements for our Kohler toilet and they fit perfectly and feel secure! Wish the plumbing supply house had alerted us to these seats in the first place.

Comfortable, quiet

The seat is easy to install, fits well, does not slam and is comfortable and sturdy. Color is very slightly different from the American Standard toilet we put it on.

Great Toilet Seat

Need to replace my toilet seat. Want a toilet seat that has a slow closing prevents the lid from slamming. Easy to install with no issues. I read there were issue with the hinge design but it looks like the redesign it with new grip-tight bumpers eliminates toilet seat loosening and shifting. It doesn't shift at all. Comfort at its best

A bit pricey at $40.00 for a toilet seat, but it's a price we pay for comfort on our touche. Mainly purchased because of the lowering mechanism that keeps the seat and lid from slamming. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

Easy to install. Question the use of steel screws

Installation was easy and well engineered. Seat has a beefy profile and, to me, more comfortable than the Kohler model it replaced. I hope the steel screws used to fasten the seat down are stainless. I also wonder about the logic of having the end user install the front bumpers. A little tough to do for weak hands. Great purchase

This product fits exactly what I needed. It looks good and fits on the toilet well. I love the soft close feature and the ease in cleaning it. With it being on sale, the price fit my budget.

one thing i dont like, i think it could be a little more secure attatched to the toilet bowl,there is a little wiggle room which i would prefer to be a tighter fit

Absolute piece of garbage!

Worst toilet seat available! It takes five minutes of screwing per bolt to secure this thing, ans as soon as you bump the seat sideways, this thing comes completely off. You have to loosen the bolts to click it back on, and then the bolts never tighten back up again! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE. I THOUGHT KOHLER WAS A PREMIUM COMPANY, NOT!

Toilet Seat replacement

I do love the show close feature...........however, the original one only lasted 18 months. So this Kohler is a replacement.............hope it lasts longer that a year and a half !!!

Very comfortable and good purchase

This seat cover must have been popular since there were no boxes on the shelves. I had to ask a sales associate to bring more down from the inventory which he promptly did. He was very helpful and courteous.
