What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this combination square for its accuracy, solid construction, and reliability in woodworking and trim work. Most highlight its precision, noting it doesn't wobble like cheaper alternatives and performs exactly as expected. The American-made design is appreciated for its durability and lightweight, compact form that fits easily in tool belts. Some users report difficulty reading the finely etched markings, and a few experienced issues with sharp edges or component fragility like the level falling out or lock nut breaking after drops. Despite these isolated concerns, the vast majority consider it a worthwhile, professional-grade tool.

Would Not RecommendI don't know what happened to this square after I purchased it, it lived in a toolbox with my other woodworking tools, but after a few years I noticed it wasn't true. Checked it with a PEC square and sure enough it was off by almost 1/32" when fully extended. I was gonna buy another to have as a cheap throwaway but the scale on the photo only shows it reducing to 1/8" no 1/32 or 1/64 marks are visible in the photo - so gonna take a hard pass. Might as well spend the money on another PEC and know...
A must have.
Would RecommendNeeded one in Florida for our park model we just bought. Some changes we wanted to make.
