Blown insulation

Worked well with atticat blower. Will see how it does this summer but seems to be helping so far. Added 6-12” throughout the attic and did above the garage and back porch.

Xpensive

Would use again. Much cleaner and more attractive. With Lowe’s free rental was a win.

absolutely disappointed in Lowes

52 bags I purchased. Its bad enough trying to install that many in a day but is absolutely impossible when the installation involves moving the machine several times. I went into second day and then Lowes wants to keep my deposit because it wasn't returned after 1 day. So the customer has to abide by the contract but not Lowes? The directions on the machine even clearly say to install AT LEAST 100 feet of hose and yet I barely got 40 feet of hose. I had to remove several pieces of siding and cut...

Attic Protector

With the provided blowing machine, this insulation went in without a hitch. Had depth desired all marked out. Installation went perfect. I would definitely use this product for a future insulation installation.

Great product easy to install

8 bales, 1 free machine, 2 guys, 1 hr of labor each, project completed, return machine, ahhhh nice warm garage :).... It was that easy!

Portagoose

Picked up the recommended blower and enough "Johns Manville attic protector" to re-insulate over the top of old insulation. Picked up 13 bags and it was just perfect to add between 4" to 10" in lowest spots. Covered over 2300 square feet. The machine worked just like it was a new machine. Lowes supplied enough hose to get the job done. My neighbor fed the material in and we were done in just over an hour. Very pleased.

Insulation is good the blower not so good

The insulation is a good product but the blower that was provided did not take the insulation very good. Had to break it up into little pieces to get the blower to work. I has used Owens Corning with no problems at all. They have a far superior blower.

Great Product to work with

My wife and I bought 17 bags this morning at the Lowes store in Muscle Shoals Al. and got the use of the blower for free. After buying the insulation went to the customer service desk and rented the blower. They had it ready to load and got everything on my trailer. Got home got everything hooked up and ready. We put the first bag in the blower and it was wrong but after reading the instructions on the blower on how to load the bags it worked without a hitch the rest of the time. My wife fed th...
