It was easy to install on our floor by our kitchen cabinets. I would definitely buy this product due to the easiness and quality of this product. Recommended!

Interesting

Love the concept however we have vinyl flooring so i will have to make a center to match. Gotta find a piece that matches. It looks so much better but i wonder if it puts out enough air. With a thin edge around solid wood seems less than all vent.

Nice Idea, Brittle Feel

This is a very stylish vent cover that certainly looks better than the old metal grates. Can't say if the air flow is as good. Installation is pretty straightforward and the center section accepts your wood, laminate or tile flooring easily as long as you cut it accurately. They do provide a template. It's deep enough to accept thick flooring, but if you have a thin flooring material, you will need a spacer behind it. Nice looking option

This plastic register has visual appeal and is overall pretty good. The air flow through this register is restricted more than others I have used but it is expected with the section in the middle for matching the flooring. This register blocks the flow really well when it is closed. Not much leakage at all. The lever for closing the vent is thin and is probably the weak point. Overall this is a good register and looks good.

Great cover works great for hard wood floors.very easy to install.just cut hole out and lay down in it and put wood in.and enloy air coming in.lets alot of air thru too

Nice Product

Product was easy to install. My vent system was not perfectly straight so that needed to be adjusted a bit. I did not have an extra piece of flooring, but picked up a sample piece that blended well enough.

Plastic Frame

This is a very easy customization of a Heat-A/C vent. You need to have the flooring material to finish this DIY. I used Vinyl flooring to complete this project. The plastic frame is study, but I would not try to use this with tile or any heavy material. The depth of the inset is ¾ inch. Look expensive!!

I want to give these 5 stars because they look great and are almost identical to the more expensive vents, I have these throughout my house. We have 3 located in front of a large sliding door which is an area that people walk . I wouldn’t put them in front of something that people walk on but everywhere else highly recommended.

Very appealing and looks great

Looks good it’s made with hard plastic so it want rust I cut a piece of flooring to insert it the middle to match the floor it took maybe 20 minutes it make the floor more appealing to look at I love the look and will buy more in the future

Vent insert

I am redoing the flooring in our living room and was looking for an insert for the vent. Installation was easy, however the custom insert is supposed to be 3/4" thick. It was difficult to come up with that exact thickness, 2 pieces of flooring was not thick enough and 3 pieces was too thick. I had to find something else that would make up the difference. Not my favorite

I’m not real crazy about this for existing flooring. I don’t really like the fact that it’s plastic, (I prefer metal inserts) and that you have to have an extra piece of flooring to put on top. It might work well for new floor installs, but my floors have been down for a while and I didn’t have an extra piece laying around.

This floor register is customizable but you must have a piece of your actually wood flooring that you can cut to size and fit into top of register. I didn't fully understand this & I don't have a piece I can use so read description well. As far as the register itself, it is made of durable plastic & easy to close/open

Love the “hidden” look of this register cover

I was surprised how much I liked this register cover! I love the idea of hiding these more (blending in as much as possible) I have a LVP flooring so I had to back it with 7/16 OSB to make it flush. The cover is deep enough for hardwood floors and pergo style flooring as well. It has a great look and still functions great!! Install took about ten minutes!! 10/10 recommend!!

Customizable drop in floor vent grate

This custom floor grate works well with our current decor since we have 2 inch hardwood that matches up with the insert available in the grate. Overall the insert is well built and should allow for the necessary expansion and contraction of the flooring plank that is used and inserted in the insert.

Not very decorative

This is a very well built floor vent. Not very pretty but we wanted something that was durable. I like that they give you a template for cutting the hole. I traced the hole and took the line. Perfect fit. The air flow adjustment is very smooth. It would get 5 stars but it is not very decorative.

Know what you are getting

A few things to be aware of if you’re purchasing this item. It is plastic . While the plastic does not feel flimsy, I worry the tab to open and close the vent could break rendering it immobile. The height of the tab does not extend higher than the top so that should not be an issue breaking off that way. This does fit perfectly in a 4 x 10 opening. Pretty and Functional

It fit perfectly into a standard vent return. I really like that you can put your own wood in so it's an exact match to your floor. I have laminate planks so I cut a few and stacked them up to the correct height and you can't tell the difference. I do think it slows the air flow down just a little from traditional vents but not enough to keep me from buying more. Its plastic so I wouldn't put it in a high traffic area because I'm sure it would chip or break over time but for out of the way vents...

Really like a 4.5 star

Almost perfect. Nicely made, had some leftover material (just a little) from its mold. Fit in the cutout nice and snug. I wish this came with the proper slat of wood to stain, paint, or dye to match. However this is the plastic shell only. I’m not entirely sure how strong it will be over time in a high traffic area when stepped on. Otherwise fit and finish seem great!

Good idea.

I like this idea. It really dresses you a room to have the same flooring cover the vents. Makes the room more stylish. Way too easy to install just make sure you measure and get the right size.
