Quiet yet powerful

Product was far quieter than the smaller GE unit we replaced. Also, the 5/8 hp was plenty powerful enough to handle everything we threw its way.

Space Saving and Strong

Lots of power and does not take up very much space under my sink. I love it, because I got a deeper sink and this fits under sink with plenty of space

The auto reverse is nice and insinkerator is a beast at disposing, the big seller is this is quiet.

Very Quiet and Shorter!

Easy to swap out the old and install the new. Love the fact that it is shorter, lets our storage tray pass underneath. Only drawback is the rubber insert has a little bit higher lip which doesn't allow our trim ring (black sink) to fit. Very Quiet!

I was the installer.

My customer purchased this item at my suggestion. Based on my past experiences. It was VERY EASY to install, given the previous machine was an Insinkerator Badger, with the same mounting ring. It is installed in a home that is occupied on a part-time basis.

The Strong Silent Type

Of course I didn't want my old disposal to die...but this one is so much quieter and has handled everything. My plumber recommended this and installed it in 30 minutes.

Outlet pipe not easy to get sprng clip over rubber sleeve and get a water tight seal peehaps a threanded option woth a small tube of plumbing cement for example

I like some of the features such as less noise

I haven't used it very much since we are on a septic tank, and I'm trying not to put too much stuff down the drain. We usually compost most of our garbage for the garden. When I do use it though, the noise level is down to a bare minimum. We really like that feature compared to our last one!

The product is fantastic

This product exceeded my expectations from the writing on the box to what it actually did. Very easy for installation and was so shocked at how quiet it operates that I wondered if it actually was working. Total installation time was about 15 to 20 minutes tops.

Great disposal.

Best I've owned. I know I could have spent more to get more, but for the money this disposal is quieter and more powerful than I expected. Highly recommend. Installation was an ease, and yes I did the install and I am not a plumber just enough common sense to read and follow instructions.

Quiet and Efficient

This garbage disposal as super quiet and if you are not paying attention you can forget that it is on for a split second. No loud noise but it works just as efficiently as the normal one you know of. The size stocky and neat, great for small spaces. Oh and I love that the color is navy blue. That is just me.

Perfect

My husband replaced our 20+year old disposal that sounded like a garbage truck! This new one is so quiet I don’t even hear it’s in! It’s a great product

Very quite compared to the old disposal

I am very happy overall. Having installed disposals before, installation was what I expected. My only criticism is the “space saver” description. The old disposal was a twenty +year old Kenmore and was comparable in size.

Very Quiet Upgrade

This replaced a 10+ year old Badger 1. Very quiet with a bit (lot) more power. It was a very easy install with only a slight adjustment to the existing under-sink plumbing. No cutting made it 'very' easy. Again, no issues with the installation, use or noise. Great Upgrade.

Quite and sturdy

This is so quiet I thought I messed up the installation. I purchased this since my 10+ year old disposal started leaking. I was impressed with the longevity of the brand so I figured stick with it and upgrade. This is definitely an upgrade it has devoured everything I have put down it with easy. My old unit was 3/4 hp and I stepped down to 5/8 hp with out a noticeable difference in performance. My one issue was with installation. My old unit was quite a bit thinner so installing this required so...

this is the third insinkerator I have owned and i would not even consider any other manufacture.
