As easy to install as advertised

My 16 year old insinkerator failed a few weeks back, I purchased the same modernized model and had it installed and operating in less than 45 minutes. Loved that’s the models numbers are still the same so no searching and cross referencing was needed.

Generally quiet but seems to struggle with larger things.

Install was easy for the plumber. The top aperture is smaller than last one so liquid takes longer to go out of the sink. Smaller thngs get chewed up fast and quietly. Larger things it seems to struggle with and shakes the whole sink. The smaller aperture on this one is good in stopping things like a bottle cap going directly in, prior one I had to fish things out frequently including a catfood can lid that stuck beneath the cutters. very quiet

6 months into use and its still quiet, hope it stays that way. Old unit rusted out, leaked into cabinet. Fortunately we were home and noticed the water upon opening cabinet, dodged a bullet. this one says its made w/stainless steel we'll see. Old unit lasted just a shade over 2 years hope this one does better.

Easy install

Our previous Garbage disposer was purchased because of it's good looks. (Dumb reason as you normally can't see it). When it wore out I checked with a retired plumber for his ideas. We bought an insinkerator on his recommendation. It was easy to install and quietly does it's job.

Easy upgrade worth the money

Easy to install, literally took a few minutes. Almost silent. Unbelievably silent actually.

Excellent product-Happy to support an American company!

This model is well made and takes any job that is thrown at it. We thought that our old disposal was quiet, until we installed this one. It can hardly be heard over running water! Excellent product! Worth the extra money for the quality that you receive. We highly recommend Insinkerator!

Very quiet

Unit is very powerful and quiet. Very little vibration and has handled everything that we put down the sink.

Very Quiet and Powerful

This was a replacement. The installation was very easy even for a non-pro. Works flawlessly.

Very quiet in sink waste disposer

The Evolution waste disposer grinds up food refuse from the sink very well, and does it with little noise. It takes up less space that the old one it replaced allowing more storage space under the sink. So far, it has been very reliable.

Very Quiet!

This purchase was to replace a twenty year old model that failed. The Insinkerator is much quieter. Cost a bit more but worth it.

Product offers good value for design.

The Evolution SpaceSaver Food Waste Disposer offers a solid design at a good price. The installation process was similar to the unit that was replaced, although I could have used an extra hand pushing down on the sink flange when I was attaching the snap ring from below. Although the unit is very quiet when it is in operation, the primary selling point for me was the solid design.

Quiet efficiency!

Our former disposal was OLD! We replaced it with this quiet, strong one and are delighted!

Great fit for small area

Replaced kitchen sink with deeper sink. This made for every tight area between sink and floor. This disposal is shorter allowing much more room underneath the sink. It is so quiet that you might forget to turn it off. It also looks very stylish? Not sure why under the sink but it sure looks good.

Excellent product

I am very please with how very quiet this disposal is compared to all the past ones we have had. It is powerful and does a very good job. In fact, the plumber who installed it told me this machine will grind up most anything I put in it!

Great Quiet Disposal

I really like my new disposal. It is EXTREMELY QUIET, and I really like that. Suggested my daughter and her family get this one next time they need one as theirs is very loud. I don't use it a lot, but it seems to do the job. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating on installation is because mine didn't come with the black rubber drain splash cover piece which keeps it from splashing water and debris upward. Replaced old Insinkerator with an Evolution Space Saver P-4. Very quiet - a lot less noise running and grinding More power - no strain to dispose of compacted waste Same space under the sink - moved trash can to the other side. Still able to store frequently used items under the new GD

The quiet one

Excellent quality and super quiet. After we replaced our old disposal and installed our new InSinkErator, there’s a huge difference! Especially how quiet but powerful the unit is.

Had a Sears Elite made by Insinkerator and replaced with this new unit, extremely quiet and works great. Very satisfied.
