quietest disposal I've ever had

During an extensive remodel of our main house, we demo'd everything in the kitchen, including the kitchen sink. Our kitchen is now no longer in a walled off area but literally open to formal dining room, living room, and sunroom. Our sink is island mounted in the center of this new layout so sound has become a critical aspect. The evolution Spacesaver is exceptionally quiet in fact so much so that sometimes it's hard to hear it running. I could go on and on but bottom line... I'm very please ...

Quiet. Such an upgrade

Works well. I had a disposal around 10 years old? This one is noticeably more quiet. No problems with installation. Had a plumber out so I can’t speak to installation difficulty. Fit right in the same spot easily!

Our last insinkerator died after four years. This one has been good so far…we’ve had it a month. Let’s see how long it lasts. I paid more to get one with a longer warranty.

Very quiet

The lowest HP model rusts out in about two years and leaks water out the bottom. I paid more this time and it seems to be of much better quality. I am hoping it will last a long time. It runs so quiet that my wife wonders if it is working. Love it so far, but if it starts to rust out inside in a year I will not love it so much. So far very happy I spent the extra $.

So quiet

Great product. Easy to install ( little heavy to lift but only because we are 75 yrs old). Will recommend to friends and family.

Good Disposal

The Evolution Spacesaver disposal was extremely easy to install and works well. Best of all...it is very quiet!

So quiet

We replaced a noisy, existing disposal that had come with the house we bought. The Evolution SpaceSaver was easy to install and took no time at all. I love that I barely hear anything when I use it!

Worth the price....

The Evolution Insinkerator installed easily, and hopefully will last many years. The low emiited sound is worth the extra cost.

It's quiet and works great!

We had this disposer installed with a complete kitchen renovation. We had the contractor install it, so don't know how easy it was to install. So far it's working great and it's very quiet.

We love it!

We've lived in this house for about 7 years, and finally decided to install a disposal. I'm pretty handy, and this installation was relatively easy, even by myself. I simply ran wiring from my dishwasher to the disposal. It is SO QUIET!!! I remember the disposal our family had when I was a kid that sounded like a jet was taking off in the kitchen. You can barely hear this one with the water running. Would definitely recommend it.

Quiet and Efficient

This unit was just a little wider (more powerful) than my last Insinkerator disposal, so I had to cut the horizontal outlet pipe down a little to fit, but installation was fairly easy.....especially if you are just replacing another Insinkerator and you reuse the sink hardware already in place from the first one. It is the quietest disposal I have ever had (yes, you can hear it but be reasonable) and it is very efficient. I'd buy it again.

This product has been a great replacement disposal

I had a 1/3 hp garbage disposal that started to corrode and needed to be reset constantly. This new 5/8 hp has been a great upgrade. I have not had any issues with it and the installation was a breeze.

Outstanding Customer Service

Mine gave up the ghost very near the end of it's warranty. It came with the house we bought so had no documentation. A phone call to the company and the warranty was verified based on the serial number. Was replaced yesterday at no cost to me even labor. No company can do better than that backing their product. Thank you Insinkerator!!!!!!

Great product

Since I don't do this kind of thing all the time, I had to take a couple of tries to get the unit to lock but finally got it. It's really quiet and works really well so far. I've never heard one that quiet. I've got another one to eventually replace and I'll get this one again.

Quiet but already rusting

I replaced a previous version of this that I'd had for a while. The one I was replacing no longer did a good job of grinding up food debris possibly due to the two rusted movable bits on top of the spinning plate. About 4 weeks after I'd installed the new model, I can already see the rust around those same movable bits, and I expect they'll become rusted in place after more time goes by. I feel like a garbage disposal must be designed to withstand water and should not be rusting after just a few...
