Completely remodeled my kitchen and upgraded my garbage disposal. No regrets. This thing is a workhorse.

Very quiet!

This InSinkErator is extremely quiet. The 1st time we used it we weren't sure it was working, it was so quiet. I like that it is designed for homes with septic systems, complete with a special cartridge for our septic system.

Septic Assist Garbage Disposal

Product arrived as promised. I had it professionally installed. It took less than 2 hours to installed. Unit works great and is exactly what I needed for my septic system.

Quiet quiet

I have quite a few things to grinds and bones normally make noise and some of the particles fly back up This is quiet and keep those particles from flying back at you. You may have have to to give and extra push to get things pass the black rubber center but it won’t come back up!

Well built

Replaced exsisiting myself, and had no issues. Well built, sturdy and does what it should. Also very quiet compared to one I replaced. Happy with the results.

This is a terrific product, I own two of them would highly recommend.

Great upgrade from previous model

Quiet as a church mouse. A lot quieter then the one it replaced. Installation was a breeze using a flange from a existing 2004 septic model. Amazing that it fit Hope I get 15 years out of this one. Expensive yes, but worth it if you are on a septic system

How to resolve the biocharge dispenser problem...

I had the same issues as others who said the bio charge liquid would not feed from the dispenser bottle. I discovered on a repeat test run that the force of the disposal turning on jars the unit enough that the bottle works itself loose after a few uses. Thus the enzymes in the bottle are not pumping into the system. Here’s my fix: use self-adhesive velcro and attach to unit on top, bottom and on each side. Then use velcro cut-to-length bundling strap and wrap around the bottom of the dispense...

Easy Replacement

We replaced our old disposal after about 15 years with this new one. Easy to do and it works great, much quieter.

First time

This is our first purchase of a unit specifically for a septic system. The unit is quiet and efficient. We are looking forward to a long life.

Great disposal but septic assist does not function, never has.

Purchased Evolution Septic Assist from Home Depot and had it professionally installed two years ago. The septic assist has never worked. I still have the original bottle with liquid down only a half inch. I have reinstalled the bottle following instructions several times. I check it, then forget to recheck and it has never worked. What should I do? I need the septic assist feature.

Insinkerator Evolution

My install was a replacement install for a septic assist disposal. It was a Insinkerator as well and last 19 years. I was very pleased with it. The Evolution model was very easy to install as it fit my old sink adapter. I am very pleased with the new one after 2 months. The Evolution model is so quiet. Much quieter than my old one. With the Insinkerator quality I expect the new Evolution model to last for many years. I highly recommend the Insinkerator brand.
