Super quiet. This thing will make you question whether it is actually working. It is a beast in more ways than one. I do highly recommend it only if you have the space under your sink; it's huge. I also recommend STRONGLY to have your car jack handy. Yes, car jack. It is heavy and unless you get it lined up the first time and are unlucky like me, you will need to hold it for a minute and it gets HEAVY! But seriously, I can't say enough about this machine. A lot quieter than the last insinkerator we had

I have always trusted Insinkerator and this one exceeded my expectations.

Very quiet easy installation

Disposal is very quiet and has plenty of power. Didn't have disposal prior because we are on septic system. This disposal designed for home with septic system it has definitely made life much easier.

Review of my opinions

I have had an insinkerator for many years and got this one because the other one did not work anymore, but the garbage disposal works but the liquid does not go into the disposal and I have taken it out a couple of times and followed the instructions but it still does not work. I paid a plumber to install it so I don’t know what to do?

Quality product

This is my 3rd InsinkErator. All have been quiet and efficient in processing food waste for our septic tank. The 1st one simply wore out from old age, the 2nd failed while under warranty and I am REWALLY IMPRESSED with the warranty service!!! when it works

This is replacement of this same disposal but the 1st one only lasted about 6 months. When it works it is great! We live on a septic tank system so its great. If you buy one you need to make sure that there is a certified repair company in your area. Like Tenn. there is not and a large portion of northern Ga.. I feel that is the only down fall.

Love it !

We had the original Insinkerator installed when we built our house in 2004, and finally after 16 years it decided to fail. We bought a new one, and holy cow!!! We're not even sure if it works because it is so freaking quiet!!!!!! Assuming it works, because nothing is clogged, and the dishwasher doesn't get gunked up anymore. Thank you for a great product !

Can't tell that it is on

This unit is so quiet I have to do a double take to make sure it is on. We are on septic and hope the secret juice does something good for the system

Excellent product

This unit is super quiet when running! I love that it automatically dispenses solution to aid the breakdown of food which can keep my septic system working efficiently. One less thing I have to remember to do for home maintenance! We installed this disposal within less than hour.Great product!

The best I've ever owned. So quiet! So Powerful! Turn it on and in just a few seconds it is empty. Everything is pulverized to a liquid quickly. Being on a septic system, I don't anticipate any septic problems in the future thanks to this new disposal.. I'm a very happy consumer!

Great replacement when you have a setic

I purchased this as a replacement for the previous model. That previous model lasted 17 years in a family of 4. In my mind that is a great return on investment. The new product could have simply connected to the older drain basket but I did chose to install the new drain basket. The drain pipe connection is a new design but in the same location which allowed me to install with no plumbing changes. We had an InSinkErator before, when we built our house 20 years ago. It finally wore out. We had such good luck with it, we thought we might as well get the same brand again and we did. WOW...it's so quiet!! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new garbage disposal!!

The last time I had a new InSinkErator installed was in 2006. So I am a repeat customer who knows first hand how long lasting this product can be. The new one was recently installed and it’s worthy of a 5 star rating. The appliance itself fits nicely under the sink, runs smoothly and is quiet as ever.
