Great Garbage Disposal

This unit replaced an older one that was also quiet; but, this one is even quieter. Be careful to make sure you know when it is on! Has worked well for us so far!

Best disposal unit I ever purchased

I've installed multiple disposal in my personal home and in my rental homes and this was the easiest to install. With the new Lift And Latch feature, I was able to install it much more easily than before simply by twisting the whole unit until it engaged the locking ring. Then I just used a screwdriver to tighten the locking ring. Also, this unit is the quietest disposal I've ever owned - even though it's a higher horsepower than the one I was replacing! Quiet, works well, straightforward install

I replaced an older model disposal with this one. The installation was relatively simple. It is amazingly quiet compared to the unit I replaced. It works very well. It is a large unit, however, and it takes up quite a bit more space under the sink than you might expect.

Unbelievably QUIET

After years of smaller, louder, and yes, less expensive disposals that never seemed to last as long as I thought they should, I finally sprang for this one, which is a full HP and so quiet it's hard to explain. We also got the button, which we installed in the hole in the sink where one would put a sprayer, rather than a wall switch and I'm super happy with this. Well worth the money and hubs didn't even cuss too much installing it.

Very quiet, works well.

This disposal is much quieter than the one it replaced and works very well. Our only problem with it is that the rubber covering of the sink drain does not allow enough water to drain out and the sink tends to fill as a result. Kind of annoying when we have to push it in to let the water out. Maybe it will improve as the rubber relaxes over time - we'll see.

Powerful, quiet and easy to install.

My hearing is damaged, so I especially appreciate appliances that don’t raise a racket and keep the house feeling calm and peaceful. The horsepower and the rubber collar over the top opening make this disposer very quiet. We bought this to replace an older top-of-the-line model insinkerator that had been great for years until it got jammed by a penny. Unbelievably Quiet

We should have purchased this product a few years ago - LOL - but glad that we finally did. So quiet, especially in comparison to our old unit. Quality and innovation of this product is just perfect for daily use. We had a pro install to ensure it was done correctly.

Unit was easy to install. About 1 1/2 hours start to finish. Unit is MUCH quieter and very effective in grinding waste..

Great Waste Disposal - Iffy Instructions

The functionality, effectiveness and overall quiet operation of this disposal are absolutely fantastic. Taking one star away as the directions instructed the wrong way to rotate to install which caused quite a bit of frustration working in such a small space under the sink without much leverage to hold everything up. Once that mistake was realized, it went in perfect.

Quieter than others

Love this disposal. It’s really quiet. I like that the rubber piece that covers the opening is removable, which makes it easier to clean & putting my hand in to dislodge a piece of bone or something to that got stuck.

Glad I spent a few extra dollars

Works great - strong and quiet....the flaps that others complained about actually prevent things that shouldn’t go down.

Excellent Product but quality can be improved

Very satisfied overall. I replaced an existing model which developed a leak after 4 years. I give it the benefit of the doubt of it being one bad one in an overall very good lot. Can hardly hear it. Efficient.

Easy installation -quiet operation

The disposal was very easy to install. I installed it and an air switch in a sink located on a kitchen island that didn’t previously have a disposal. The device is large. Definitely measure the room you have under the sink. I imagine lack of space is an issue in some cases. The disposal is very quiet and powerful. Hopefully it will do its job for many years to come. Quality product.

Quiet and does the job

I replace a 1HP with this 3/4HP only because they didn't have any at the store. I have not seen any difference as yet. It runs quietly and does its job.
