only lasted 3 months

as other reviewers mentioned, it it relatively quiet and does grind well. None of these are exceptionally easy to install under a sink , but this is as easy as any. I rated it low because it stopped working after 3 months. Using an Allen wrench i can assess that the blades are free to turn. I know that there isn't a circuit breaker problem. the reset button can be pressed, but it doesn't stay "in". i hope find a different unit that is just as quiet but more reliable.

Quietest Disposal Ever

Son replaced my old, noisy disposal with this Evolution Esteem Plus model recently. It was a quickly and easily done. I am very pleased with the quiet efficiency as it powerfully dispatches everything from vegetable trimmings to egg shells.

Overall good product

It does a really good job doing what its suppose to do grind up and discard food waste. Only down side was its not as quiet as I thought it would be. Was replacing an older lesser model. It does a better job of grinding but is almost as loud as my last one.

Product is ok

Purchased another device to replace one that I got about 3 years ago. First one started leaking and found out that the inside was rusted. The new device is already showing signs of rust around the grinder blades.

In sink erator

Very quiet, but instructions were not in the box, thankfully my installer knew how to do. Also missing the wrench that usually comes with to use if becomes stuck. Must have been a return & not checked before restocking. Oh well the disposal is a great one last one I had lasted for y e a r s !

Excellent product and very quiet

After 20 years our original Insinkerator needed replacing. Reviewed the product offerings from Insinkerator and selected this model. The ease of installation was simple and straight forward. The product came with all hardware required. We selected this model for it's quiet operation and was surprised to hear just how quiet it really was. Highly recommend this product.

Great Disposal

Very easy replacement install, it’s so quiet you don’t think it’s running.

very quiet!

This one replaced a 17 yr old badger.5 plus. This one is so super quiet compared and has more horsepower. Super easy to install and didnt take long. I did have just one issue with the install - there was no electric cable connector included (which the instructions say it doesnt, however, it’s not mentioned anyway on the outside of the box so i had to make a quick trip to get a threaded connecter [snap ins wouldn’t fit]).

No electric cord to run the disposal.

I have bought a few disposals in my time. All had the electric chord already installed. Not this model....had to buy more electrical equipment and attach it to the device. Not a good idea to let a inexperienced person tamper with electricity if safety is a concern of yours.

Powerful yet quiet

This product is amazing. Easy to install and very powerful, yet so quiet you have to listen carefully to know it's running. A very good buy for the money.

Great disposal

So much quieter than our previous one and it doesn't take up any more space under the sink than the other one did. Love how quietly and smoothly it runs - good purchase. The sink seal can be removed very easily for cleaning and is very easy to put back. Recommend highly.

Hummer

I paid more to get a quieter disposal and it is quieter. Our tv room is close to the kitchen, and we now can hear tv when disposal runs. It’s not completely quiet, just more like a loud hum.

Great product....Very Quiet...Like the way it rotates in different directions each time it is started...helps keep it from getting jammed...much stronger than what was originally installed by builder.

Easy replacement

Had a badger 1 that only lasted about 5 years and began leaking. Wanted more life for the trouble of installing so upgraded to stainless steel construction in the evolution series. Love the twist & release connectors. Followed instruction (including removing dishwasher drain line), dropped the old unit out, moved the electric plug cord from the old unit to the new one, put it in place and twisted the connector back in place. Disposal Powerhouse

Great kitchen disposal that’s quite and really chews through most any food I put into the sink.

So far so good

Runs quietly and disposes whatever we've thrown at it. Only had it for a few weeks but seems much nicer than our previous disposal.
