Easy install and very quiet!

Very easy directions to install - I replaced the disposal and the drain and it took about an hour. I purchased extra fittings and drain parts, but didn't need them. It's so quiet, I thought it was broken! I immediately told my whole family to be careful when using it, because you might not know it's on - the running water is louder!

Very quiet but powerful

We have only been using for a month or so but so far very pleased. Unit is much quieter than our previous disposer (KitchenAid) and seems to be much more efficient at its job. Things like lemon/lime rinds that would bounce around a lot and take a while to finish are nothing for this unit. Quick and easy. One thing to note, the baffle is significantly more restrictive or closed down than I have experienced previously. That means water drains the sink noticeably more slowly. It also means larg...

I can't believe the difference!

I recently replaced the original contractor grade disposal in my kitchen and used the occasion to rationalize an upgrade. Not only is this new one twice the horsepower, I cannot get over how quiet it is. I have to be standing right in front of it to hear it running. This thing oozes quality. As for ease of installation, I just wrote a check to my maintenance guy and it magically found itself installed. You can't get any easier than that!

Fantastic product

The disposer is fantastic. Operation is quiet and it devours everything. Onion peels, banana skins potato peelings. EVERYTHING Little bit spendy, but its worth every penny. Jeff

This is really a huge step-up from our previous Incinerator...twice the horsepower, nearly inaudible and extremely fast...

Love the removable shield

I appreciate the removal shield. I feel that I am able to keep my disposer cleaner and sanitized.

Amazing

This product is so quiet that I now need to actually listen to hear if it is on. It's virtually silent....and it grinds up food almost instantly. This product is amazing.

Super quiet!

Very nice product. Install was normal for a garbage disposal, great directions though. This disposal is extremely quiet. Grinding ice in it sounds like just turning a regular disposal on- I was amazed!

Powerful yet quiet. Does the job well, especially the 1 hp version. I paid to have it installed, so I can't comment on the ease of installation except to say it didn't take very long. Really like the constant feed feature.

It’s HEAVY

At 71 years old I found it a little difficult to get into the collar. It’s heavy. I got some help and it snapped into place. Once it was torqued down, it was awesome. VERY VERY QUIET. VERY EFFICIENT. WOULD DO IT AGAIN AND RECOMMEND.

Easy install, very quiet

I replaced a 6 year-old Badger 5 with this unit. I’d specifically wanted a quieter unit that was rated to handle heavier food waste, including chicken bones. Removing the old unit and replacing the flange (I could have used the exiting flange, but the new one was shiny), took less than 30 minutes. All That I Hoped For

Needed to replace an eighteen year old Insinkerator disposal. Moved up to 1hp from 3/4 hp. Directions with product were simple, even for me, to follow which made installation very smooth. Product works very well, very quiet, no leaks and wife is happy.

Worth the money

Very quiet and powerful. I don’t know how hard or easy this was to install, my brother did it in about an hour and a half. Looks great and works well, I just hope it last for the 9 years
