An excellent, reliable product.

Our InSinkErator Hot Tap is by far the best performer over any of those we've owned in the past. It was very easy to install (I did it myself) almost deceptively easy. The unit is sized properly to provide the right amount of hot water and not waste heating time on a larger than necessary water volume. And best of all, if the available hot water is exhausted the InSinkErator reheats a fresh supply very quickly. We are very happy with this product. Reasonably priced; solid performer!

Excellent Product

Wonderful product. Our first experience with the Instant Hot was in our home in Colorado. My wife enjoys tea in the evening and this makes it quick and easy. No waiting for water to boil. We had to have to have one in our Sarasota home.

Easy to Install

This was a replacement for an older version at my cottage. It took only approximately 30 minutes to remove the old unit and install the new one. It worked well for the first six months or so but now it has begun to occasionally spit steam and water when not in use. It has prompted me to unplug the unit when I'm away just in case it decides to boil itself dry.

Having this product is a huge help!

This is an excellent product that I would hate to be without. The hot water is perfect for washing food from dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The water temperature is just right and the spout is so handy for use, I find that I use it almost without thinking or planning.

It is a poor product!

It requires reheating too often which uses too much electricity. We have had other Insinkerators which worked much better. This one is very noisy when reheating and reheats a lot even when not used.

Works well

This is the third one of these we have owned. We use it probably a dozen times in a day. They don't last forever but from what we have seen with our friends, the more expensive ones don't last any longer and we like this design better because it is easier to operate. You can push down on the lever to start the water much easier than the type that you have to twist... Short Service Life

While the product's performance was good it lived only 10 months before developing a leak forcing it's removal This is the second product of this brand experiencing such a short life. We will not be purchasing a third.

It is simple, fits into my contemporary kitchen style, easy to use.

I would not be without my In SinkErator Hot Water Dispenser! It makes bringing water to a quick boil when I cook veggies on the stove, it makes hot instant oatmeal ready in seconds, I use it daily for steeping tea, I use it to rinse greasy dishes....I LOVE it!!

Dis-appointed

After having the Instant hot for 14 yrs the insinkarator is a dis-appointment. It is noisey. It spits hot water when not in use.

this is the 4th one we have had in the last 20 years, we use it for tea. warming plates and cups rinsing out the s.s. dog dish, and for other times we want super hot instant water. it is a necessary item in our home. that's the reason we wear them out.

Great Product

We installed this product as part of our kitchen reno. It is used everyday and has performed flawlessly.

necessary kitchen appliance

I was without my hot water dispenser for a couple of weeks and really missed it. I didn't realize just what all I used it for. Sure saves running a gallon of water to get a cup of hot water. I will not be without it again!!

Love instant hot water

I wasn't sure about this product's usefulness, but my wife wanted one installed when we built our house. Now it is one of my favorite features in the house. I love having boiling water whenever I want it without waiting for the kettle to boil it.

Excellent product, working as expected and has no problem

It is easy to install by yourself and no problem. Work without problem. Hot water is hot and able to do coffee too.

Good product with one big concern

This product was great for size, installation, ability to produce hot water, etc. HOWEVER, it is noisy. It doesn't have any insulation, so it loses the heat fairly rapidly, which causes it to switch on to reheat the water fairly often (every 20-30 minutes). And with no insulation, it's noisy when heating. I called the company and they told me the noise was "normal." I tried insulating it myself but there isn't enough room between it and the wall to get enough to matter in there. It was the cheap...

safe and easy to use

My husband is handicapped and we needed a safe way for him to get hot water. The Insinkerator Instant Hot water heater solved the problem. This is the second home we have had one installed. I thought we could manage without it but missed not having one.

Great Product

I am well pleased with the features of this product, as this is the third one I have installed. The ability of instant "Hot Water" is great for a number of things around the house as well as in the kitchen. I would highly reccomend this product
