Great, long-lasting product!

I replaced my InSinkErator with a new one after the old one stopped working (after a piece of metal was accidentally dropped into the disposal.) It gave me more than 14 years of frequent and flawless service! I wouldn't consider any other brand! The new one works perfectly, too.

The Badger insinkerator is very handy

I really have no other disposal to compare my Badger 5 with so I have to say I am satisfied with its performance. I like that installation was easy. The step by step instructions with diagrams are so clear, I think anyone could install it if just replacing one to the existing neck piece under the sink. I went through 2 badgers in 17 yrs., I think because I did not know, initially, that I had options clearing clogs/obstructions, resetting using different methods. Garbage disposal

Very easy to install. It was installed just like the old one that was taken out. Very powerful. It was a little higher price that some others but it was worth the extra cost.

Quieter than expected

Bought this to replace a similar model when redoing a kitchen. Works fine and is much quieter than the previous model.

Great replacement Disposal

The orginal disposal outlived its usefulness. It was in the house when I purchased it so the disposal was at least 20 yrs old, when it rusted out with big holes in the bottom & parts started flying around when it gave up the ghost. Had the plumber install the Badger as I'm unable to get in the position to do it myself. Works great!! Small tank

I measured before I bought this. It has a small tank but doesn’t take up as much room under the sink. The faucet has a safety that you have to push to turn it on which is important to me as my daughter got burned when she was a toddler. It doesn’t use us a lot of counter space. Nice product.

I feed my dog a raw frozen diet. I use paper plates to thaw the food on, then rinse it off and set it in the dishwasher to dry and store until I need it again for her next meal. Etc. Not once, but twice I forgot to take the paper plates out of the dishwasher and ran them through the wash cycle. The dishwasher has a very good drain and strain system but I’m afraid some of the paper plates made it through and locked up my garbage disposal. Easy installation.

The unit was easy to install and works as it should. The quality of the unit seems good and only time will tell if it lasts. So far I am satisfied. The price was reasonable compared to other products out there.

Our plumber seemed to find the Badger 5 Disposal easy to install and had it up and running in no time. It is quiet and efficient. We are pleased.

My Plumbing Experts spent very little time installing and it works perfect. This is the 3 Badger I have had installed after 25 years. I will replace with same.

To be fair, I believe mine is defective

The installation went well. Easy and a drop in replacement. To be fair, I do believe mine is defective as the test run all seemed fine but after about 3 uses, it started sounding like the unit I replaced. Noisy with increased grinding. Like metal on metal grinding.

GREAT NAMED PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE.

The old disposal was an InSinkErator that lasted 10 years. The new one was easy to install and is very Quiet when running. The clamp to hold cord to device was difficult to install,had to use a standard threaded Romax clamp. So far I'm very pleased with the product.

I bought this product to replace a 1/3 HP insinkerator. It is quiet, it is efficient, and does a thorough job with grinding

1/2 hp better than 1/3 hp

More power is better and quieter than previous model. Hopefully it lasts longer than 1/3 which lasted only 5 years!

Easy install easy use

I bought this to replace the old badger that was rusting inside. I read through the instructions, watched video. Decided I can do that. And I did! Instructions were clear. I had no problems installing myself. Love to save $$$ on dyi. This product has performed as expected. Low noise. Works great.
