Doesn't last long

This is now my third Badger. Last one lasted only a few years. Only reasons I bought it again is it's super easy to install if you already had one and they are relatively cheap. Good luck!

Noisy Disposal

Just purchased a new home and had to replace the garbage disposal because it was leaking from the Motor housing. It was a Badger InSinkErator. . So I bought another Badger InSinkErator. Big mistake! The product in use is very noisy. Other than it was an easy swap from the old to the new that is where it ended.

Easy to install

I'm replacing a (leaking) Badger 5 with another, so I'm re-using the sink collar. Since it's a direct replacement, that's what made this installation extra easy. You need to know some very basic wiring It's probably a good idea to find a box, etc., as a spacer between the unit and the bottom of the cabinet. Aligning the unit with the collar can take some time, and the unit will get heavy since you're lying down and lifting it with one arm. Having a spacer WILL make things easier.

Longevity is not a feature of this product.

I purchased to replace the identical product. The original disposal lasted only three years, so I cannot give the product high marks for quality. the new disposal works well. I just hope it lasts longer than the original.

Easy Replacement of same product.

Replaced an ancient Bager 5 with a new one. Old one was 20 years old and still running, but the plastic between the sink inlet and the garbage disposer inlet had cracked leaking water into the cabinet under the sink. Since the replacement was same model, drainpipe did not need any changes. Very good! FYI, if I did change to the next size smaller, I would have had to change the drainpipes. Easy to install

My last insinkerator lasted for over 25 years! That is a tremendous return on investment. So when the old one finally gave out it was a no brainer to replace it with another Insinkerator disposal

Product was fairly easy to install as it was a replaement for a very oid InsinkErator.

We replaced a 20+ year old InsinkErator disposal with the Badger 5 series. Straight forward install and is quieter than the old unit.

Great Disposer

We recently replaced our old food waste disposer with the InSinkErator Badger disposer. It does a great job and is so much quieter than the unit it replaced. Great value for the money!
