[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this tape measure for outside projects, such as building. I like the easy to read, large numbers. The tape measure case is very comfortable in the hand and the finger brake works very well, I use it very often.

Very Handy Tape Measure

Nice and strongly constructed of good materials. I would recommend this tape for pros and amateurs alike!!

It's NOT just a different color tape measure!

And 17 feet was far beyond any claim I had seen before. So I had to put it to the test before anything else. Irwin lived up to the claim. Awesome Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am adding a 26 x 18 addition onto my Lake cabin. This tape has been invaluable! I especially love that measurements are on both sides of the tape. This is super helpful when it is extended long distances up against the wall.

25' Tape measure

Nice big numbers, nice that they are on the bottom as well. Hook seems to be tight and not wobbly. I have few Irwin Tape measures all have performed as they should

My father's new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape measure is superior with reach. Extends to roughly 12 ft. It's awesome they added a "finger stop" at the bottom which adds to the speed of the tape and this is my new favorite as well as my dad's.

One Handed 10ft Reach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a tape measure and measures things accurately. It has a really good reach before breaking, so far 10ft without support, and grips lumber well. I've mainly used it to measure out rooms for flooring estimates so the long reach helps. The tape has large clearly visible markings down to the 16th on both sides with a sight window in the body. The belt clip is firm and holds on tight.

Tough Tape

It is a very durable tape, the measuring tape itself is very durable tape and is easy to read with the large numbering. I actually extended the tape out 14 ft with no buckling. I checked to make sure the tape was accurate from start to 10 ft, it checked out right on the money. The only concern I have is the finger stop on this unit. Stand out

I was measuring spacing inside a commercial space for a new HVAC installation. Working sole and taking measurements on a 15 ft ladder was very easy with Irwin strait-line measuring tape.

Handy Handles

Best Tape Measure ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Irwin 25'tape measure 2 weeks ago. It is the only tape measure I use because of the 12.5' standoff and the fill of the tape. I also love the ease of reading the size of the numbers on the tape.

A better mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a been taking measurements for an upcoming remodel. This tape measure is very easy to read. At times when I have had to size things on the ceiling, the stiffness of the tape allows me to extend it out in an inverted loop to take measurements. Great non collapsing ability. when extended. It is a little heavier than I'm used to but I got used to it right away. Positive locking. My new go to tape.

Impressive addition to any toolbox

Good tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The irwin strait-line tape measure is well made. Belt clip works good. Doesn't slip off belt when bending over. I got my tape measure to 18' before it dropped. It has a retraction control to dlow tape down, but what i likeabout it is when I'm measuring above my head i can simply look up at bottom on tape and readcthe measurements instead of turning the tape and having it unhook and fall. Dual sided hook and double sided tape is very helpful.

Excellent tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked the tab where the tape feeds out of, very sturdy tape and I wish I hadn't left it out for my four boys to find and destroy in about two hours. I can definitely recommend this tape if you or your crew is gentler than a pack of young kids but I had to dock a star because they managed to tear out the tape pretty quickly. Would definitely get another, but would keep it out of young hands a little better
