nice tape

Best tape measure I’ve had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Irwin strait-line tape measure to help creat my pallet bed frame and it was easy to read, it had big bold numbers and you can even see the measurements on the reverse side which was nice so if you had to measure something that you can only get the side your able to read it from both sides

Solid well built tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very solid well built tape measure. It is easy to read and locks securely into place. It has a long reach for those high and out of the way places. The retraction control is a great feature that I have never had before.

Solid tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape measure is heavy and gives the indication of a rugged tool. I was concerned about the thin hook when using the measure upside down, but because of how the ruler is cupped it was not an issue (see photo). I had expected the rule not to twist but at about 6 feet I encountered some twisting that was a bit annoying. I liked the idea of the finger grip but after using it for awhile, I prefer using it while wearing gloves.

Good price for 2

So far so good. Tape measures are made so poorly in the last 5-10 years. Been a month and these have not gone bad yet

Good tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this to layout a 3 car garage. I usually use a magnetic end, but it was a nice change to not have the extra weight while doing longer lighting layouts. It feels solid, and sturdy without being heavy. I like and am used to the finger stop. The numbers on the actual tape are nice and bold, easy to see when darker out. The recoil was nice as any new tape. We'll see about durability as it has only been used for one job so far

It is heavy, small enough to easily fit my hand and it has a rubberized case which also makes it easy to hold. I expect that the case will also be able to take a lot of abuse, which it will no doubt receive. Also, I like that the tape is easy to read. Vast improvement over STanley

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to haul an old fore truck and needed measurements. The tape went out to nearly 20 feet before it bent! While measuring for a building site I noticed how east the tape is to read. Having the measurements on both sides of the tape are a neat feature that is really handy.

Outstanding tape measure

Irwin 25' tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a nice fit for your hands. Very tough when you drop it, stands up to damages, its a bit heavier than im used to but its ok because it has a great reach, belt clip is nice and strong, the foot is nicely shaped but not magnetic

25 ft. STRAIT-LINE® Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 25 ft. STRAIT-LINE® Tape Measure. Liked that it had bigger number. The really the reinforcements on the first 6". The hook seemed to have to much play. Fit nicely in my hand. Was also nice that I did not have to fight with the blet clip

Installing a new sump pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace a sump pump and piping for my basement wash tub. I used the new 25 foot tape measure and was impressed with its weight and large printed numbers. I also liked being able to measure using the bottom site window. I give this tape measure a five star rating for it’s ease of use and versatility.

Carpenter's Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a great feel , very sturdy and solid. The blade of the tape being one inch wide makes this unit much more sturdy that most on the market. The type extends smoothy, feely without hesitation. I would recommend this tape to the tradesman.

My Woodworking Shop

Does your tape measure, measure?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Irwin 25 ft.Straight-Line Tape Measure. Looks as if it was built for the ups and downs of the job. The tumbles and drops that often happen. The housing looks as if it was padded in a hard rubber. It isn't much heavier than other tape measures but the look is different. Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this first arrived, I wasn't expecting it to be that well put together. Not only does it have some heft to it, I believe it will be very durable and long lasting. I like the easy-to-read numbers since I don't have to eyesight of a 20 year-old anymore. I had to do some measuring for some replacement flooring and this tape measure made it a breeze to get accurate measurements by myself. The readout window on the bottom is also a nice touch. ...

I like the way the tape moves in and out. I would like to say this is the nicest tape measure i have ever used. I look forward to measuring all my home projects with this beauty.

A nice, stout tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial impression was that it felt solid and sturdy. Too often I've had tape measures wear out from use. I anticipate this one will last me a while. The tip is riveted three times for strength. We all know that a tape measure with a loose tip is useless so that's good. The numbers are easy to read for my eyes. All in all are great piece of equipment.
