[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The strait-line tape measure is a really durable tape measure, it has a 25 ft extention before it drops and needs assistance. It also is a really good quality of a tape measure. It also has the finger hold on the bottom.

Straight Line 25'

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tape measure! Has number on both sides. Very smooth & feels great in my hands!The stand off length of this blade is impressive. Nice window on the bottom for viewing the measurement. I even like the color.

Measuring up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After owning various tapes over the years I’ve given the Irwin strait line 25” tape measure a try. As with all other Irwin tools I’ve used over the years it is very well built and rugged enough for any jobs. The numbers and increments are easy to read and the tape snaps back in like a race horse

Solid Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Things I like about this tape measure: Feels robust and solid, I can see this tape measure lasting for MANY years. Thick wide blade feels very strong and will take a beating. Wide end tip. Finger stop. Double sided markings on the blade. Only negative is it doesn't have a magnetic tip.

Durable and strong tape measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Irwin Strait-Line 25 foot tape measure is a durable and strong tape measure. The tough outer shell is able to absorb a barrage of every day abuse on job sites. I was able to stretch out 12’ before the tape wouldn’t hold. I really like the finger brake and wonder why it wasn’t always used or more widely used. The large numbers are great to see quickly at a distance

Well built

My favorite tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Master Electrician and this tape has become my favorite. This tape feels good in my hand, it extends out very far and retracts great. It is built to withstand the everyday abuse I put it threw.

Great Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this tape measure is as good as Fat Max easy to use durable and can stretch it out with out it folding over. Retracts well and locks. Easy to read top side and bottom side of tape measure. With a nice window on bottom.

Large print and rugged!

I had to measure my garage for siding & it was able to hook on to one side and the large print made it easy to read. This will be a perfect gift for my father in-law as the print will make it easier for him to get measurements.

Retraction control is a good feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think one of the best features the Irwin 25 foot tape has is the retraction control. The cut-out allows you to slow the tape as it retract protecting the end from coming loose. The wide tape extended out 12 feet for me.

Tape that works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tape has a good weight to it. Feels good in the hand. The tape is thick and stiff so it actually stands out like advertised without bending. The finger brake on the bottom is convenient for slowing the recoil especially if you want to only retract to a certain point. The clip seems strong. The only thing it needs is a magnetic tip, something that may be available on other models.

Best tape i have use in almost 50 years

These 16' and 25' are probably the best i have ever used. First they are extremely well built, a rubberized exterior coating feels very comfortable to hold. Great tape measure but not something I would get.

The hold at the bottom is nice but one thing that’s negative about it is that it can be really easy to cut your finger on. 25' Tape measure is well designed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape measure is pretty awesome! For us over 40 folks the numbers are large and easy to see, even from a distance. The tape effortlessly slides out easily locks with the thumb tab. When the lock is released, the tape gently coils back into the unit. Only negative is the size and weight but for me that is manageable.
