it does a good job

I like everything about it except that it puts to much moisture and heat into my house. Which is nice in the winter but now that its about to be summer i dont think ill be doing any drying indoors this summer. Back to the line i go. We need to get back to the basics anyways.

Would not reccommend

It made the laundry room very warm and even with water in the container lint was all over the wall in a large area around the vent.

Dryer Vent Kit

It is easy to use and put together. The clamps do not hold on the end of the dryer. You will have to buy a better clamp for the dryer.

Waste of money

If you enjoy a challenge and don't mind wasting most of your time cleaning, go buy one of these. If you have other things in life to do as your dryer is running, stay away from this. It does put heat back into the home and some moisture back in the air, but the top doesn't snap together very well and the wall mount is as cheap as they come. The hose is hardly long enough to mount the unit right above the dryer. As far as the water trapping the lint, ehh don't believe it. Makes a huge mess!

DON'T BUY

to start the housing does not snap and stay together very well. The hose included is too short, I had to put my vent next to the machine on the floor. I will be shopping EBAY for a different item to do the job.

no more clogged up hoses running to roof top and the heat from the dryer stays inside and keeps house warmer

Good for the price

At first I didnt even want to get the vent kit but I didnt want to pay to wash clothes either in my new apartment so this was my only choice. My problem is the metal tube is not very long so if you have a small space and a large dryer you basically have to stick it somewhere that it wouldnt get crushed or knocked over. and it has to have water in it so that can be tricky.

Quality at its lowest

This product is constructed so poorly it falls apart at every attempt to install it. Wall bracket jams, hose clamps slide off, and snap locks don't lock. Also package drawings show a screen over the top openings which is not included.

Doesn't work.

No matter what you do this thing was not worth the money we spent on it.

Time saver but needs an upgrade

This product saved me from having to drill out through a concrete wall. It connects quickly and does exactly what it says: it vents your dryer in doors. The recommendation I would make is to either plan on using sheet metal screws to hold the flexible vent pipe to the dryer outlet, or use a traditional pipe clamp with a tightening screw. Works fine , a few suggestions

This dryer vent works pretty good , a few suggestions though that i found improves the performance: Buy a slightly longer tube so that the lint has a longer distance to travel , i ran mine from the back and over the above dryer rack and on to the top of dryer where i have the catch bucket. use hose clamps instead of the tension clamps that are included. Great concept, poor quality

The concept of this dryer vent is good, but the plastic and the brackets are very poor quality. The plastic is not firm and makes it tough to put the top on because the bottom portion keeps bending. The brackets are pinch brackets rather than a screw type, which doesn't give a very good hold. The price was nice, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay $20 and get a more firm plastic and better brackets.

Dryer Vent KIt

This kit did not come with the brackets as it shows in the picture, it did not have any instructions as how to install or assemble. The vent is also open at the top, so I am not sure how it is supposed to keep lint from flying around in the room. I am using it, but only because I need it right now. If I find something better, I will dispose if this item, Not happy at all!!!!

Only problem, there were no instuctions included with the item-- we figured it out by going online and finding that others had the same complaint re:lack of instructions. . . . .
