Classy, Functional for Small Living Room

This 44 inch fan fits a small formal living room very well. Fan is very functional and not over powering for the small room. We installed Hunter fans in our previous home six years ago and never had any trouble with them. We knew we wanted more Hunter fans in our new home we just purchased. It did take longer than the five minutes stated on the box for installation but other then that everything else was as expected.

Good Buy!

I purchased two of these 44" fans (one white and one brushed nickle) They have dual color/ reversible blades. I added a 12" down rod on one for angled ceiling. The bulbs that came with fan were to dim for me. I installed 13watt CFL's (825 lumens ea.) and they are brighter and conserve electricity. One fan was perfect balance out of the box and the other required one weight. I did install a remote kit from lowes but the lamps were way to dim. Even at full bright setting only got 75V to bulb socke...

Hunter, 44" Ridgefield Brushed Nickel ceiling fan

I bought 2 of these fans to replace 2 - 52" fans. Although these are 44" fans they are quieter and move more air than the old fans did even when they were new. The design of the Hunter fans and their reputation for durability was a very easy choice. Because of my health I opted to have them installed by Lowe's. The Installer was very professional and I would recommend anyone that needs this service to not hesitate buying products that they are not able to install themselves.

Really nice fan and light kit

I really like Hunter ceiling fans and this is a really nice product for less than $100. Fan was fairly easy to install, instructions were good, and it is really quiet and well-balanced (e.g., didn't require balancing). Only misnomer is the "Five Minute" name, which, realistically should be "Five Minutes faster" with the snap on fan blades. Total time was about 50 minutes,when you included everything from start to finish: unpacking box, checking parts, reading thru instructions, getting tools and...

Hunter Ceiling Fans

Associate knew what he was talking about and was very helpful. Bought two fans. Took more than the "5 Minute" notice on the box. One was easy to install. The other was a bit harder Took two people about an hour to put up both. Quiet running. There were 2 pull chains on each fan. One for the fan and one for the light. The chains were much too short for most people to easily reach and pull. I will have to purchase 4 chain extensions.

Dependable quality

Nice - quiet - stylish -and dependable I don't know where the 5 minutes come from???? It takes an inexperienced person a little longer but... One guy can install this fan by himself.

Took more than 5 minutes to put it up, but that is the only flaw ;) i think it took me maybe 30-45 min from start to finish including running back and forth to breaker box to turn on or off power to attach and test fan + light function. Once installed, looks great and runs whisper quiet. I don't think it gets any better than this !! Highly recommended !

Nursery Fan

We purchased this fan for our grand-son's room. I have installed quite a few fans over the past 30+ years and this one was by far the easiest. I love the snap on blades. You do not need three hands to install, one to hold the fan level & stationary, one to hold the blade in place, and one to balance the screw on the end of the screwdriver while lining up the holes. Just line up the three posted on the blade arms, already attached to the fan, with the holes on the blades and snap on.

Best Fan Ever

This is my third fan just like this one for our new house. Having been an electrician for 30 yrs I've installed a lot of fans. Now retired for several years, I have been out of the loop for a while and surprised how much these fans have improved. I love the snap on blades and is Super quiet.

Hunter fans are always a great purchase.

Very happy with our new Hunter fan and the service we received from Lowe's. I do wish Lowe's sold replacement globes for the Hunter fans.

Easy Install

Easy to install but takes about 20 minutes, not 5. Silent as well.

Ridgefield Fan

I bought and installed this fan in the same day. Simple electrical connections and hanging. This is probably the most quiet fan I have ever had. It runs smooth, doesn't rock or tic and it looks great too. The only downside I can find with this fan is the bulbs they provided only lasted about 4 months. Other then that this was a great purchase.

LOVE IT!!

This fan was a great buy all around. I had to return a fan that was twice the price of this one b/c it just didn't fit the style I was going for in my new house. We found this one and it was just want I wanted and with the money we saved I was able to get more lighting for another room in the house. It works wonderfully and is a quiet fan. Perfect for price, relatively easy to install

Not entirely sure why it's called a "5- minute fan," since there's no way any person could put it up start-to-finish in 5 minutes. Maybe just attach the blades in 5 minutes, but otherwise, it still takes awhile even for a skilled person. But, it's a great fan, looks great, keeps the room cool, provides good lighting, I like it.
