Very Good Fan

They say it is very easy to do, but they don't tell you that the instructions don't read right., had to call Hunter to understand the right way to put the fan together. Got it right after i called Hunter trouble shoot.phone number of Hunter Fans..

Easy to install

Once I put in the right electrical box in the ceiling, it was a quick installation with easy to follow directions

Beautiful fan that was easy to put up.

The fan works great and looks even better. It was easy to install and I use LED lights in them with no problems at all.

Flush mount

The ceiling fan is very nice BUT the box does not contain the flush mount part as described in the title. So beware if you are seeking a flush mount fan. I had it installed by a electrician and he had to install with the small downrod.

Missing a screw from the factory.

Bright enough for the dining room. Already used the fan on Easter Sunday. Took more than "Five Minutes"' to install, But it looks and works great.

Hunter Ridgefield Ceiling Fan

This Hunter fan is quite, doesn't wobble, and distributes the air extremely well plus it looks nice. Just like the other four Hunter fans I have bought in last twenty years and still use.. Three Ridgefield 44 inch ceiling fans

Instructions were easy to follow; I installed 3 in about two hours. Taking down the old fans took more time than installing the new ones. They operate well and look nice and modern. Good product.

5 minutes might not be enough....

We were looking for more light in our kitchen and decided on a ceiling fan. We found this beauty on an end cap at our local Lowes.....we both liked it and so we took it home.......after the installation, we were thrilled with all the light and the quiet running fan....even on high speed....it is a beauty fan and adds a nice look to our kitchen.

Simple installation

My husband had this fan installed and running in about 15 minutes. No balancing was required. Runs smooth and quiet. It's not fancy but a nice looking ceiling fan w/ light. We have two more rooms we plan on installing these fans in. Great price.

Faulty Light kit

I installed the fan and found that the light didn't work. The directions were no help in trouble shooting the issue. I looked on line to obtain more detail and found that this is a recurring problem for this model fan from Hunter. Ended up returning it the same day I bought it.

Excellent Value

Purchased for a small bedroom 12x12. Plenty of air flow for this application. Looks great, very quite, very easy to assemble, took 20 minutes (not 5 as advertised). Great value for $85. Had to return two Harbor Breeze fans prior to this one due to quality problems.

missing and defective parts

This fan looked nice, so I bought it for my rental house bedroom. After I removed it from the box, I realized that it was missing the hanging ball. So I returned it. Thinking that it was just a fluke, I bought another one. This time there were all of the parts. Actually showed me there were more parts missing than I realized on the last one. After I installed this fan and included light kit, I turned on the light. All 3 bulbs blew! So I then tested the light fixture and realized that it was faul...

Nice unit

Easy install. Operates nicely. Some trim didn't quite fit right, but a nice unit overall.

The Hunter has a far better design over Harbor Breeze. The mounting bracket is heavier and pivot socket has a better fit. This model took 1/3 the time to install over the Harbor Breeze!

Nice Fan for the $$$

One of the easiest fans I have installed and I have installed many. High quality, like always, from Hunter. I was concerned that the 3 smaller lights would not be bright enough, but to my surprise the included lights are plenty bright.

Excellent value

While not exactly a 5 minute fan it does install very easy. Most of the fan is preassembled with very detailed and easy to follow directions. The average person should be able to install this fan with very few if any problems. I have installed ceiling fans before that the instructions for hooking up the electrical parts were lacking in detail. Not this fan, as all instructions are very user friendly. The fit and finish on the parts are excellent and I would definitely recommend this fan.
