Great compact fan.

We installed this fan in an open area laundry room. Can't actually agree with the five minute installation, but my husband is very particular about how he installs or constructs everything. Nothing he builds or installs in shoddily done. When he's done, it isn't going anywhere. It is up to stay and looks great. The fan is well constructed, looks very nice quality and operates great.

I needed a fan for a remodel-upgrade I am doing to my 1980s home. The room is only 10'X10' so 44 " fan was just right. I wanted the brushed nickel and dark wood. I was very surprised when I went to the store to see this fan.I didn't expect the Quality found when I saw it. It looks more expensive than its 99.99 price tag. Great Product - Easy installment

Quick and easy installment. Looks great! Love the silver! The fan isn't loud .. it has 3 settings. The box also included 3 light bulbs ... which was GREAT!

Nice and Quiet

This fan is nice and quiet and easy to install only issue I have is the fan speeds don't seem as fast as the Hunter fan I replaced, but that could be because this one is a lot quieter. Otherwise I am very happy with it.

bad light kit

I bought Hunter Ridgefield Ceiling Fan 1 year ago, the light kit went bad after 1 year though the fan was good. Then I bought a new light kid to replace it. Not a 5 star fan.

I gave this fan excellents all the way down. However, after a year the lights quite working in the two ceiling fans I had installed. When contacking Hunter Fan I was able to get replacement wiring harrneses. But the fit and finish of the fan is what I was looking for. The price is consitant with the quality of the product. I would buy it again.

The WORST

The absolute worst ceiling fan I have ever owned. Let me preface this with my husband is an electrician. 5 minutes-BALONEY. My husband easily removed the fan we were replacing and proceeded to attempt to install. The size was not compatible with the fan we are taking out and he had difficulty getting the new fan to fit-two hours later.....(Oh and I should ad the blades were cracked) This Christmas EVE-the light has been in a year and a half-I attempted to replace the 100th blown bulb and the li...

Previous fan was too large for the area (dining room) and felt like we were eating under a helicopter! Now, this fan fits very well - and looks super! Clean cut, quiet, brighter lights - we just love it! Was far less expensive than we expected.

A really nice cool fan!

I liked the chrome look with the wood and after having a friend install two of them (and it takes more than the five minute hook up it promises, believe me) I bought two more and he installed them also. With the provided 60 watt output supplied bulbs it provides brightness in some dark rooms in an older home we are updating. Good value, may take 1/2 hour each to install but longer than that and you are dawdling.

Hunter Ceiling Fan is an Amazing Product!

I've had this fan installed in my newly remodeled Kitchen. I have had not one problem with this fan. It is quiet, Easy to install, and I have yet to replace a light bulb or fixture since I've had it installed 3 1/2 years ago. If anyone is having a problem with the bulbs or lights, they may want to check their house wiring, and fuse panel. I had to split the circuits for my kitchen, to avoid blowing fuses.

NOT 5 min install

The only part of installing this fan that might take 5 minutes is removing it from the box. After having to take the defective fan motor back to the store, it probably took three hours or so to install. I would say that each step on the instructions could take at least 5 minutes. I have installed 5 other fans in our home, and am knowledgeable with electrical work and there is no way to install the fan in 5 minutes. Great Fan

Great looking fan. Lights get hot, but otherwise it's great!

NOT A FIVE MINUTE INSTALLATION

Don't let the box fool you. It took much longer than five minutes. The only thing that took me 5 minutes was the time I needed to call the handyman. He installed it (again not in 5 minutes) and it is working fine.

LIght Kit Problem

Bought two of these. One installed very easily and looks and works great. The other came with a different looking light kit THAT DOESN'T WORK! Didn't feel like trying to repackage for return, so just will use the fan with not lights I guess. Very disappointing for a Hunter product.
