i bought twi eu7000's about two years ago and they are super quiet but the file system on them is junk the only fuel filter on the dang thing is a in tank straining sock that clogs about ever 200-500 hours and it doesn't catch everything. What the tank sock misses ends up in the fuel injector witch has a screen that clogs. How hard would it hav been to put a serviable filter that the customer could do apnpart of a preventive mantance? This Generator is a great unit, it makes the same amount of noise as the EU3000is which is not very load. The run time is super long when the unit is on eco throttle, feet and wheels are great it rolls just fine on gravel and rough terrain. The 240v option is an awesome future as well as the LCD display that gives you output wattage, engine RPM, and hours, so you can do oil changes on time and not load the unit beyond its rated capacity.

Good initial experience
Purchased on line. Packaging is good and equipment was received without any physical damage. Wheel kit assembly tough is a little dificult due to the unit weight, suggest to have some assistance when doing it. Other than that, connected battery terminals, put oil and gas and unit turned on inmediately. Sound level was below my expectations, very quiet. This is my second Honda generator and I expect it to last and perform like the previous one.

Received my new generator instantly I knew just from the packaging that this was probably a high quality product. Inside it did not disappoint, the design and craftsmanship is amazing. Yea it's expensive. If you have used other generators and then used this one, you can see why it's costs so much. No. 1 quiet, No. 2 Quiet, No. 3 Quiet, No. 4 Rock stable power. EU 7000is Surges and stalls
It is good when it runs but if I have it on, say from 10am by the time1 or 2 pm and the sun is on that side of my cabin (at 9,100ft) it starts to surge then stalls. I switch the eco off but it still surges and stalls. I disconnect the power cable so no load. It still won't run. I have to wait for the evening then I can use it again.I fill my Tacoma up at the same time I fill the gas containers (same fuel premium).I put a plywood resting on the rails over the gas tank for shade still stalls.

It's frog again! Please tell me Honda has got their remote available for the 7000is!!! We are camping but it' really inconvenient to have to go outside after dark to kill the generator.
