Pretty darn quiet

Only used for one camping trip so far. It was Super easy to start, ran great.  Given other units ive heard, id say this one is quiet so that was nice, in fact if you run it from the bed of your truck with the tailgate up you can barely hear it. But its pretty darn heavy, we starpped ours to a furniture dolly, which was cheap and worked great. The Only reason i’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because i’ve only used it once and its the only generator i’ve ever owned, so lack of experience on my part...

Very quiet. Starts easy

I ordered the 2 wheel kit. Weather has been terrible. Right after I bought it we lost power. I only had some extension cords rated 12 gauge. We ran the frig, several lights and a computer and it produced nice clean power.  I kept it running for 36 hours overall. Outstanding. I will be ordering a transfer package with the 6 breakers along with a through the wall L5-30 outlet.

There was nothing in the booklet that stated the battery was Not connected! this so far was the only negative. My son has this generator and it is quieter than the 2- 2000s I own so upgraded.

Dealer service

Did not use it yet except to run it 15 minutes a month to keep the battery charged. I am surprised at the comments regarding service at the time of sale. Didn't the dealer set it up for you? Mine was delivered ready to go, with a full tank, the oil checked; it had run for a while to make sure everything was OK. Can't ask for more.

Honda is the BEST

During hurricane "Maria" we survived with a 20 year old Honda gen. for almost 90 days.  She was old but still had lots of spunk.  We were determined to get another Honda as backup and this 3000 is sweet.  It is easy to start with the key start and most of all it is "quiet" and that makes a difference when you are running 24/7.  We do have a larger generator as well but it is difficult for me to move and pull the cord when my husband is not home.  All I can say is I love this product and I have s...

Dissapointed

Brand new, runs fine a while then surges, stumbles and stalls for no apparent reason.  Start it up and then at some random time, same thing on a routine basis.  Eco mode or regular mode, same thing.

I'm Impressed

I purchased this generator in 2001. I used it once per year, maybe. Usually for bad weather and loss of power in the house. Yesterday I went to start it and the battery was dead. I pulled only two times on the recoil starter and the machine kicked over and purred like a kitten. I was blown away. This generator is one of the best investments I've ever made.

Its a Honda

During our third Noreaster the new generator supplied power for the whole house. My last Honda has lasted me over 30 yrs.( and still works great Just a little small) So my new generator had to be a Honda.

Helped ease the pain of a power outage

We lost power after the second nor'easter of spring 2018. We had bought this generator after Sandy but fortunately had not needed to use it until now. We had also thought to have an electrician set up a subpanel so we could conveniently tap into the generator for power. It worked like a charm! After hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, my brother sent us a Honda generator from Florida.  In Puerto Rico Honda Dealer was out of stock.We were saved by this little wonder!!!

Honda EU3000is

Excellent performance and super quiet.  This is a very small frame and very good stability and fuel economy.

RV use

Quietest generator I have ever owned .Use it to power our R V . Handles 13,500 AC  and other electrical needs with ease. I really like the really long run time on a tank of fuel . The last generator I owned I had to fill the tank late at night and again early in the morning. Well worth the price I paid.

Solid Value

Bought this primarily to provide use during residential outages, especially for our sump pump! We rarely were out of power more than a few hours a couple times a year here in central NH, but the frequency and intensity of nasty storms is increasing and we wanted the piece of mind of our own generator. Bought this unit online, was delivered by UPS in one week and in great shape. EU3000is Inverter Generator

This machine is ideal a residential area, super silent and just enough to move your ref, washing machine, both portable and roof fans, tv and luminaries at home. Compact and with the wheels attachment make it easy to move around. I would still recommend to have the hour meter and make the cover little bigger to work with the spark, just an 1" bigger you can use a straight extension to replace the spark.

Very Good Product

I bought a EU3000is in Pompano Beach, FL and it is very easy to use, very, very, minimum noise..Minimum use of gas.  I use it for 12hrs it used 1.5 gallons.Simple, and easy access to change the oil.. I love my generator..!

Excellent Generator!!!

It does everything I expected and is very easy to use. It should come with wheels already attached because it is very heavy, 136 lbs, and I have to buy them apart.
