Perfect generator for Home owners

This little Honda generator is easy to wheel up from my garage to my kitchen door. Easy to start, powers my refrigerator, freezer, microwave if needed (by switching extension cords), cell phones, toaster or coffee maker when needed. It's been a Godsend with all the crazy weather we've been experiencing in Northern California for the last few years! Women, don't be afraid!

If you buy something make sure it has manuals.

Did not have a good experience with this product going to return it as it doesn't work like it should.

This is a backup generator.

I have not used it yet but I did start it and made sure it was working properly. It starts really well using the starter or rope pull start. It is extremely quiet and very well made. I think Honda makes the best Generators you can buy.

Great machine

This is our second Honda eu3000i , first one still in use over 5 years now in upstate NY . We needed one in Arizona bought one here . Very quiet, I have a dog house I use like the one in NY I use a powerful exhaust fan which pulls out the exhaust and pulls in fresh clean air over the machine to help cool it .

RV Generator

Bought this unit in 2006 for my 37 foot 5th wheel. Majority of our camping is in the middle of nowhere with no power so we use it probably more than most. In 17 years all ive ever done to it is regular oil changes and 1 valve set. To this day it burns no oil and runs like the day i bought it.

Awesome generator

We've had our 3000ic running for 73 hrs straight now. Powering everything in our home that is 110v. 3 sump pumps, window AC, multiple lights, power to gas tankless water heater, fans, TV, fridge, alarm clocks etc. I've got it plugged into a receptacle that backfeeds a 220v 20amp breaker and our main breaker off for when our power is restored. Great unit.

Looking for reliable and quite? I have found it

I have had a home generator for years for power outages. It works great but is very loud. Neighbors complain and I'm not surprised. I have been looking for a another unit that is not so loud. This unit is extremely quite. Can't even hear it at the next house. Very impressed with performance. If looking for a home generator, this one is an inverter, you should take a look at this product.

The other generators I have already include the wheels. I think for the price I am paying it should have included them. There was no oil that comes with the package.

A Bit Heavy but a Perfect Mission Fit

Very quiet for a small generator. In fact, it’s impressively quiet. It is heavy and requires 2 people to safely move it. I did end up ordering the wheel kit with the extendable handles. It is soooooooo much easier to move. Operationally once I put oil in it and connected the battery, it fires right up. It’s way to easy to turn the key. I haven’t tried the pull start yet. I have used these before . will last many years. I have 2 other Honda gen. one of them is a 1989 3500. still runs great. clean gas and oil. it will out last me.
