So Reliable

From SoCalifornia, I bought my EU3000is in Jan.2013 and use it when our power goes out. Like last week for 4 hours. I brought it out of my shed put in gas ( I use premium gas) and pulled twice on the cord and Walla it started right up. Seems all my Honda products just run the best when I need them to. I find if you use them as needed and take care of them they never fail. Yes I recommend all Honda generators. I have three.

Powerful, good looking, and easy to use !!!!!!

Purchased this generator for emergency, tailgating, and home use - and it hasn't let me down. Very powerful, super quiet, easy to use, great power options (especially the parallel connection capability if needed). Takes care of all my power needs and more, no matter where I'm using it.

Powers the whole 120v house.

Purchased this generator and the transfer switch last March (6 months ago) Had the switch installed, and have lost power a few times this summer due to local fires here in rural Oregon. Fantastic Machine

I recently purchase this model of Honda Generator. It was very easy to setup to run. The electric start is a great feature. The generator runs very quetly and powers all the items on my RV.

I had a older honda generator still works fine but I needed a upgrade so I purchased the 3000 works great.

Quiet and Reliable Only One Issue...

We bought 2 of theses generators a month ago and absolutely love them. My only complaint is 4 of the the rubber legs came off (2 on each unit). The washer and nut pulled straight through the rubber leg, tearing the rubber leg so it could not be reattached. Not too sturdy.

Still not running right

2nd trip in the RV, honda generator still fails to run consistently in eco mode. Had it checked at the place of purchase. Tested and given back within minutes of arriving at store. Die and runs rough! Any suggestions?

GREAT ... provides a ton of power

Best Generator Ever

This is my second Honda EU3000iS Generator.  (My first one was stolen, unfortunately.)  This is the quietest, easy-to-use generator I have ever owned, and I recommend it without qualification to anyone who needs a reliable, precision built 3000 watt generator.  You may find cheaper generators this size, but you will never find a better one!

Great Little Generator

We purchased the generator after the power outages PG&E subjected us to last Fall.  Just put the wheel kit on and fired it up yesterday for the first time.  It is very easy to use, with good clear directions.  We are amazed at how quiet it is.  We purchased the heavy duty power cord (recommended) and we are feeling confident that we have one of the best generators on the market.  (We haven't had to use the generator for a power outage at this time).

Emergency Power

EXCELLENT GENERATOR

This generator is excellent.  Does all I expected of it and then some.  Ran 2 freezers, 2 refrigerators, couple of lights and was still able to make coffee with no overload indication at any point. Very quiet and in economy mode it lasts 20 hours before need to refuel.  i would recommend in to all as backup power incase of home power failures.

It"s A Honda

It is what I expected from Honda.  I had ordered a wheel kit at the same time as the generator so I installed the wheels first then proceeded to add oil (which I had to go into town to get) and then connected the battery.  The battery connecting process was probably more difficult than the rest of the entire set-up process.  I have a problem with this type of battery terminals which are very difficult to get every thing aligned and started after which I dropped the nut for the negative terminal ...

Almost Perfect

Start up is easy, power level great. But to use the key start, you have to take the generator apart to make the battery connection. Then if not going to use it for a while, you have to take it apart again to disconnect it. The pull start is so easy it is really not worth the hassle. Also, the unit does not come with wheels, so you have to purchase a cart. I found a hand truck that works like a cart for a lot less.  At this price level  (2,000 and tax), these things should be included!
