The plunge router part could be smoother going up and down. Either than that I love it for my small woodworking skills that I have.

Good value Router with few missing features

purchase this plunge router and very happy with the performance. I am disappointed on two key features: 1. Lacking the dust collecting port 2. unable to mount on the router table with an easy height adjustment from the tabletop good value

Very complete set of attachments and a lot of HP for a router at a good price. The router doesn’t run as smooth as my old router but it does it’s job. I was disappointed with the router set sent to me by Lowe’s. I can tell the set was a return. The box was not sealed and the cut tops of the router and plunger bags were left in the box. Also accessory parts were loose in the case.

Best Router for the Money

I got this for $99 on sale down from $179. This fit perfectly in my new Bosch table (I also got that on sale for $99 at a different box store) Huge upgrade over my old Craftsman that I've had for over 20 years, that still works perfectly, but the Metabo is so quiet and has plenty of power. I am very happy with my new set up and definitely recommend it

so far this unit has performed great easy to swap from fixed to plunge bases also a great price

Bought to put in a router table

I bought this router to put in an old router table. It was on sale and came with a plunge base so it seemed like a good choice. It is quieter than most routers, has a wide speed range and seems to have pretty good power, but I haven't used it for much yet. It didn't match the holes on the router table, but the table is from another brand, so I drilled some new holes. The base plate is only held on with 5mm screws which are a little light for mounting to a table. If they don't work out they can b...

CAN'T USE TOOLS

Delivery guy dropped box in front door during heavy rainy day 12/5/20 without any cover and power tools got flood with all water in the box. Now waste time to return...

Gave this to my daughter as a thanks for a set of shelves she built for me. She is delighted with this router. She has completed several projects with and has a growing list of projects to complete. This is an addition to her growing collection of Metabo tools.

Excellent Router at Reasonable Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The metabo router kit with the fixed and plunge router bases are a great value. In addition the kit includes multiple base plates. It's variable speed, soft start and relatively low noise make this a welcome addition to my workshop.
