Worked for awhile

I've used this router maybe 10 time to flatten an slab and it just quit on me today under regular use.

Great Router at a Good Price

I purchased this router to use with my Router table and I am very impressed. First it is extremely quiet compared to the other routers I have used. The router is well built and easy to operate. I was impressed with the fact the router came with a set of template adapters not something I have found with comparable routers.

Good combo router.

Work as it should,,price is good for this level of router. It is light and the lower hp makes hand work go smoother.

Not a good start?

Latch for the base will not hold, nut and screw mismatched size? That's being kind,I only used it 2 minutes.( Metabo) you can reach out to me. A.S.A.P

Bought new received used

Purchased online a new item full price. Received used with lots of wood dust and grease. It appeared to work but scratches on handles and etc made me to return it within a couple days. To bad for Hitachi or whatever it is called now and Lowes. Better get real new somewhere else.

workhorse

not the most comfortable or easy to adjust router I've used by far, but gets the job done. The Metabo router i have has never failed and runs super smooth and quiet after about a years abuse. Its also nice to have a plunge attachment.

Dont buy it

Speed control doesnt work as advertised. Just doesnt work. 1 speed only. Not sure how many rpms since its falsely advertised

I was a little nervous when Hitachi was bought out but, this router is just as good as the one I had stolen. There are some tools that I will only buy as Hitachi and this is one of them. I have had my compound slide miter saw since 1989 and it cuts just as good today as the day I bought it. Easy setup

This router is comfortable in your hands and is lightweight and has plenty of power. I have used it on walnut and oak with no problems at all, it performed great on both woods and the variable speed is easy to adjust.

This tool is now my go-to tool for my routing needs.

This router performs above my expectations. I use it to make bookcases, cabinets and furniture. it is amply powerful, quiet and smooth.

Easy to use.

I've only used this router on a few small projects so far and it has worked great, plan on using more in the future as it is very easy to use.
