DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. Both me and my father in law purchased this unit. Mine stopped working after 6 months and his stopped working after 3 months. We both got replacements and they have both also stopped working within few months. Absolutely the worst dehumidifier I have ever encountered. Save yourself the money and buy something from a RELIABLE brand.

Easy install and quiet

It is quiet and so far is doing a great job in my basement.

Replaced but still failed

I first picked this one up in June of 2020. It failed with an error code and the compressor would not work within a few months. Hisense replaced the unit which was great! Now, just a year after the replacement arrived, this one has failed too. I'm just starting the process to work with Hisense again, we'll see what they do. It's a real pain to have to mess with this.

Initial impressions outstanding

Despite the bad reviews, the prospect of inverter technology on a dehumidifier won me over such that it was worth it for me to try this. All their window ac's are getting good reviews with the same tech so I am hopeful those were just early production issues that have been resolved. First, this unit is QUIET in quiet mode and low fan. The compressor is barely running in the background and unless you are right in front of the unit, you don't know its on. Higher settings/max are loud but its...

So far so good

High capacity and it has the ability to drain water into the build in bucket, connect a regular hose to have constant drain, or use the pump it through a long hose to the outside. It is also quiet relative to others I've had, especially the compressor. The pump is the only part of it that is loud but you can turn that off.

Not worth the money

First i have some experience with dehumidifiers, generally have a few up and running in my homes and buildings at any given time. Had one go bad in aparticulary damp old bucks county basement and figured I'd splurge on a higher priced unit than I normally buy... so far i'm unimpressed. Bought it friday, ste it up saturday, checked it saturday night and found the pump had failed and the bucket was full. I emptied the bucket, reset and rechecked everything and sure enough sunday morning it was ful...

Piece of Junk

Did not last long. We got better usage out of the cheaper smaller version.

Horrible

Had just over a year and stopped working. Only 90 warranty.

High-end dehumidifier, works great!

My contractor recommended this model. The first one purchased was defective and didn't work. Lowe's accepted the return without question and I reordered the same model. Second time was a charm, dehumidifier works perfectly and has really dried out my basement. The dehumidifier has pretty much every feature you can think you (except wifi lol), is very quiet. I like the white color and overall design.

Glad I bought it!
