Would RecommendAdd enough water to make it level out. Not enough water will end up being too thick and will not level. Unbelievably durable when this product sets up…

May have to screed it a little to insure level.
I needed to use a 2x4 screed to insure level, sliding it along and troweling excess to the sides. Perhaps if you mixed it up very watery it would self-level, but then wouldn't be as strong. Dense and sticky like perhaps a 1:1 mixture of Portland Cement and fine sand. Insure you buy a gallon of Quickcrete Bonding Adhesive, per instructions, and roll it on bare concrete (add 2 parts water) then dry. Smells like a Latex polymer.

GET HELP getting it down from shelf!
Product as advertised; levels and sets well. Hard as nails in a week. Lowes HOWEVER puts these 50+ lbs buckets 4-5' off the ground and the ones stacked on top are 5-6' high. Unless like me, you are 6'3" and fairly strong, it is an injury risk to get down.

So Confusing
Would RecommendThe instructions on the bucket say 1 part mix 2 parts water and mix well. I mixed for about 15 minutes and it was still runny so I went half and half but when I poured it sand had clumped on the bottom of the bucket go figure, this stuff is hit n miss
Sets to fast, faulty 25% of the time
Would Not RecommendShelf life issues with on hand stock. Several batches worked as advertised. A few firmed up within moments and was unusable. Frustrating mid project issues with a faulty products. Return was accepted, but I would not recommend this brand for DIY or professional leveling.

Good product , easy to use .
Would RecommendThe stuff works great , just add water and mix it in the bucket it came in and it sets up really strong . The instructions are wrong in that you should use a little more water than it calls for and you will need to trowel it out a little because it doesn't really Self-Level very good .

Very Bad Instructions
Would Not RecommendInstructions for this "self-leveling" concrete are totally wrong. I wish I could get some money back from QuikCrete for messing up my back covered patio. Like many others, I wish I had read the reviews before starting this project. Four quarts of water added to the contents of a 50-pound bucket is completely off base. I wasted three buckets by closely following the instructions, including the time of the mixing with a paddle mixer. The resulting mix is NOT self-leveling. I will have to cover up ...

Self Leveling
Would RecommendUsed it for a really small area instructions said mix 1 part product 2 parts water but that mixture was way too liquidy. I added 1 part product then the consistency was better it ended up working for what it was intended for light traffic.
Overall a good product
Would RecommendMost reviews recommended 5 quarts water. This worked well. In one batch I accidentally added 5 liters. Which is more, but it flowed even better and set up well. Some were worried about reducing the strength. Time will tell. I figured if you just need a good base for tile adding a touch beyond 5 quarts won't hurt. Anyway, on a side note, I've learned that applying floor leveler is not as easy as it seems. There is a learning curve and little tricks that make it easier. Do some Internet searches a...
