Would Not RecommendAccording to the product description, this is a miracle product that will solve all your leveling problems. In all fairness, my patio was extremely unlevel. went through 24 buckets of this stuff for just the middle of the patio. This "self-leveling" product took a LOT of work to get anywhere near level. The amount of water directed to add is way off. The first batch was so thick, it wouldn't even move. Even adding more water didn't help much. Each bucket poured would leave huge overlap line and ...

The only thing I didn’t like , it didn’t t say I could mix half of it at a time. It was eAsy to work. It is self levelingg and is easy to use.

Did really good
Would RecommendUsed this in a 4X4 closet floor and worked great. Still had half of the bucket left. You still need a trowel to spread it around though.

It may not be what you think.
Would Not RecommendLet me start by saying that I’ve been in the flooring business for over thirty years and leveled, patched or scraped more floors than I can count. Does this make me an expert? I used this product to see if I could level a garage floor, about 24x30. This product is not designed for this purpose. If you want to level a small area like a bathroom floor using one big batch it’s fine. I wasted about $2000 worth of leveler on this project. If you call the manufacturer they know less about their product...

Sets up WAY TOO FAST
Would Not RecommendUnless you're only using one bucket's worth, you need a second or third team of mixers with perfect timing. I tried to level a 14 ft x 14 ft area with only one mixing drill and this stuff dries/sets up within 5 minutes so blending a second, third, etc., batch is IMPOSSIBLE! If you only have one mixing team, you will have ridges. And if you move it too much, it starts to dry and doesn't self level very well.

Hard to Use
Would Not RecommendThis stuff is really hard to work with. Mixing it according to directions is a no go. Best to add 4 quarts of water to empty bucket then have one person gradually add the material while another mixes. Once all the leveler has been added to the bucket you need to add another 1 to 1 1/2 quarts of water to get it to actually spread out on its own. We put down 23 buckets and it looks like 50 shades of gray! It was also super hard to get the stuff spread evenly from bucket to bucket. You need experie...

Great strength, bad flow
Would Not RecommendAfter three coats, we realized it wasnt just user error causing the lack of “self-leveling” flow. The coat is strong, but it requires more water than the instructions call for (although they do say to can add water until you get your desired consistency). Even THEN, it just didn’t do a good job of self leveling. After some [panicked] trowelling on our final pour, we still had to grind the concrete down in places to get it level! Not ideal. I would not buy it again.
Packaging is a plus
I just poured this around a toilet, so haven't seen the final results but it looks like it worked. I was very pleased to open the bucket and find product packaged in 5 separate bags, which made it easy to mix a smaller batch. Also, I used 4.5 gallons per 50lbs. Vs. 4 gallons as stated on the bucket. I'm putting tile over this so I wanted the material to flow smoothly and quickly.

First time floor leveling...
Would RecommendI think it turned out well... took care of the bow in my floor in my dining room. Had to do some troweling though... probably mixed it too thick.. instructions say use 4 quarts of water and I used 5 and it was still Too thick..

Floor leveling wonder
Would RecommendMix it soupy!! The stupider the better and then it flows easily before setting up, leaving a smoothe level surface.

Fixed a terrible basement floor
Would RecommendWe purchased an older house with a basement that was definitely originally unfinished, but the recent owners finished it haphazardly. The floor was not very level in one area, so they threw down some plaster, laid linoleum over it and called it good. Well, when we pulled up the laminate and discovered this, we knew we had to fix it the right way. After some discussion and research, we settled on this product to help level the floor before laying tile. We used a cement adhesive first to ensure th...
