What Customers Are Saying
The trap is effective at catching small rodents like squirrels and chipmunks, though some found it too sensitive and difficult to set properly. It has a humane design that allows for safe relocation, but may be too small for larger animals. Users noted the need for patience and trial-and-error to set up the trap correctly.

Returned. You can build a better trap yourself

Caught a Chipmunk 🐿️
Would RecommendMy cat brought a live chipmunk in my kitchen and turned him loose. Set this trap (not super easy, but figured it out), be sure to bait in the back and flip the door lock metal bar over so once it’s tripped the critter can’t escape. Worked great!
Good for catch and release
This is a pretty good catch and release. It did its job for me. It took a few days, not sure why. But I finally caught a rat. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star, was due to the sensitivity of setting up the trap. Once set, you have to be gentle not to rock the trap to much. It will trigger the trap. Remember to place the bait far in the back.

Did not work to catch chipmunks.
Did not work to catch some chipmunks. I kept finding the trap sprung and the bait eaten but nobody trapped.

Small animal trap
It’s great for squirrels but not for small chipmunks.

Would Not RecommendNever trapped anything. The bait was gone but it never triggered the trap

Expensive and useless
Would Not RecommendI’ve “caught” 3 squirrels in this thing who have all managed to squeeze out of the closed door after tripping the trap. I’ve gone so far as to weigh it down with rocks and even zip tie it to a yard steak and every time they simply squeeze out. Thank goodness I didn’t have them in the car for relocating at the time!

Expensive garbage
Would Not RecommendI should have opened the box and looked before I purchased. The entire top of the trap is made of thin, cheap plastic. Squirrels, small possums, chipmunks and rats can easily chew out once trapped. Total waste of money and a terrible design!
We appreciate your feedback. This trap is made from both metal and sturdy plastic. Our testing has shown that when used as directed, animals are not ...
