Would RecommendSet it up to catch a squirrel in my attic. Wasn't able to catch it in the trap. 2 of the 4 times I checked, the food was gone and the trap hadn't shut. Bummer! It wasn't a faulty trap though; just a squirrel from hades.

Catch/Trigger Very Sensitive to get set!
Would RecommendWorked but, the trigger catch is very sensitive and difficult to get set. I had to do a little bending to the removable arm to get it to catch properly. Overall, after 3 prior failed attempts of setting the trigger/catch, I caught the darn squirrel that accidentally got inside my garage for 3 days and I was able to let it go free where it belongs without any harm. Other than the catch being a pain in the butt to get set, the trap is well built and sturdy.

Would RecommendAfter watch you tube videos, it was easy to work. Plus learned it was helpful to add a weight or heavier magnet to the door it would close quicker. Haven't caught anything yet, but also havnt seen/heard the squirrel in my room since i place it.

Would Not RecommendThe arm that connects the door to the spring trigger will fall out and is easily lost. The manufacturer doesn't call this out anywhere and won't send a replacement part. Once lost the trap is worthless. Save your money for a different trap.
