What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the light's brightness and natural rock-like design that blends seamlessly into landscapes. Many highlight its ability to illuminate pathways and garden areas effectively, with dual-hour settings and adjustable angles appreciated. However, a substantial portion report the lights stop working after only days or weeks, with several mentioning water resistance issues after rain exposure. Some find it insufficiently bright for larger areas. Despite strong initial appeal, reliability concerns and inconsistent performance frustrate many users.

Would RecommendI was pleasantly surprised to discover this light was much larger than it appeared in the package. Another plus is that it puts out a decent amount of light, unlike other similar products I tried in the past. I like the design that allows access to the battery compartment with 4 twists of the bottom plate, and that easily goes back into place. The unit is economical in that it uses a single AA battery—also unlike similar products I have tried in the past. I first tried it near my mailbox, an...
Performs as stated
Would RecommendNice addition to the landscape. You can place it almost anywhere to give a long glowing backdrop to your house or property . Love the feature of both an 6 hour and a 10 hour option of light to choose from . The light beam is adjustable to your liking . The only possible negative comment is the rock itself could be a bit more realistic of a rock but it’s not a huge issue .
Bright and Built Solid
Would RecommendWhile it doesn't quite look like a rock from the top, it's as solid as a rock. My ONLY complaint is the light won't stay where I position it. I might have to inject some calking to hold it in place. If it weren't for this, I'd give it 5-stars. It has a replaceable battery. You have to remove the battery cover to turn the on/off switch on. There are two settings, 10 hours and 6 hours.
Doesn't work right or consistently
Would Not RecommendI got this to light up a shed that I can't see on dark nights or when I need to get into it after dark. When I pulled this out of the box and turned it on, the light came on under inside lighting. Took it outside, it was overcast, and the light stayed on, even if switched to off then to either mode. I think the light should stay off in the daytime to charge the battery to the max. Turned it off and waited for next day when it was sunny. The light stayed on even in direct sunlight. After dusk the...
Nothing Special
Would Not RecommendPlaced the "rock" in a sunny location about 10 days ago. Lights up at dusk fairly brightly, but with a rather yellowish light vs other solar spot lights that I own. Seems to illuminate for a number of hours. although I'm not sure if it makes 8 or 9. On 2 cloudy days it failed to light at all however. Also difficult to point the light in any direction other than the one pictured even though it does rotate on a swivel. Not impressed with it at all.
Perfect flood light
Would RecommendThis is a very clever flood light with a great design that is perfect for a small garden area or any small area that you want illuminated. The great design and color blends in perfectly.
Bright, inconspicuous
Would RecommendI found this little rock light works quite well in a dark area of the yard. The lamp itself pivots slightly to direct beam of light. The light fitted points are rather loose, however this really doesn't affect the performance of the light assembly.
Rock lite
Would RecommendThis is a nice fake rock for the garden area, unfortunately my gardens are under a foot of snow at the moment so I have it set up by my patio doors to catch the sun. It does a nice job of collecting the sunrays with its large solar panel. You can set the length of time for the light to stay on from 6 hours at 30 lumens or 10 hours at 24 lumens then 12 lumens for another 5 hours which is my preferred setting. Easy access to the on/off area which also holds the replaceable solar battery. The front...
It’s very bright
It took a long time to charge but once the sun was out and strong it was bright.
Lousy product - Lowes should stop selling this
Three of the four units stopped working - looked at other reviews - water leaks into unit and it stops working - will be returning units for credit.
LEDs don't seem to be very durable
Would RecommendHad to return one three times. The LEDs kept going out. Hopefully, this one lasts
Reversal of previous 1 rating...
Would RecommendI previously rated this product a 1 because a new 3.2V battery did not work in it. Turns out the replacement battery had a larger positive contact and didn't quite touch the unit's + tab. When adjusted it did, so in all fairness I'm going with a 5.

Not what I expected
Would Not RecommendI like the fact that it is somewhat camouflaged, but the light output was not quite adequate for me. It really needs strong consistent sunlight during the day for full power all through the night. Dependent upon the amount of direct light (versus overcast days), this light will stay on from five to six hours through the night. I purchased two other spiked spotlights from another vendor that stay lit well through the night until morning, approximately nine hours. I still use the grey solar light,...
Love this solar light. When you surround it with other rocks it blends right in and doesn't stand out at all. As long as the suns is out during the day the light shines bright at night and lasts several hours. It works so well to light up or address.
