Buy protection plan

If you buy this light make sure you purchase a protection plan because it will come in handy. I wish I had read reviews before I bought 3 of these lights. Two have failed within a couple weeks and like others have said it seems to be after a rain. Thankfully I have a protection plan. My local store does not have anymore in stock so looks like I'm driving 10 miles to a store that has them.

BUYER BEWARE !!!

Worked great for about 6 weeks found out why it quit working today. IPX5 rated for water jets i guess rain doesnt count.

Wasn't what I was looking for.

The product isn't very good. It doesn't absorb as much sunshine as I thought it would. Cheaply made. Won't buy again.

Did not work

Apparently broken right out of the box. After 2 days in the direct sun, i returned it. No second chances.

Durable and long lasting

I bought this as a gift. My original one, bought over 3 years ago still works fine.

Bright

Bought this on a whim since we needed an outdoor light but dont have outdoor outlets. Its bright and lasts all through the night if the day was sunny.

Stopped working

I bought this about 4 months ago. It worked great at first (bright light, nice tint, worked well even after a relatively cloudy day). Then it just stopped working. I changed out the battery and it still does not work.

Did not last 2 weeks

DId not last 2 weeks. Rain leaked into and filled LED enclosure Nice if they worked. Will be returning to Lowes

seemed cool but not worth it

brought it home it worked for like 45 mins then stopped working and we couldn't get it to work anymore

Terrible lights, don't waste your money!

I bought two of these lights for my Koi Pond. Let them charge up for a couple of days in the sun. One barely lights up,can't even tell it's on. The second one lights up just a little brighter. Don't waste your money, I will be returning these.

Keep your box because you will need to return

FIrst two lasted a few weeks. The next four we had to return two straight out the box. The replacements we bought last a week. Will be bringing all 6 back as they were $30-$40 a piece. Too expensive to only work a week or two.

5 out of 10 failed within a year

Placed these lights on high ground away from any standing water where they get 8-10 hours of light a day. Stored inside from the fall through half of spring. Rain water entered them and destroyed the componants. There is black rubber gasket material used to seal the case that upon closer inspection was not thoroughly applied. Water also enters behind the tilting lamp fixture and through the improperly sealed photoelectric sensor. When the work the lights were bright and the timers worked.

They didnt last longer than a week

I bought 3 at $30 per and only 1 works, 1 works if I toggle the switch on and off and then eventually that doesnt work. The 3rd one just stop working after a few days. I expected more at the price point being other lights for less are still working after more than 6 months of use.

limited lifespan

I have bought two of these now. Each one lasted about a year. Really liked it besides that.

Not high quality enough for long-term outdoor.

I bought 4 of these. One failed within one day, so returned and exchanged for another. 3 months later (and beyond warranty) another fails due to the ease of moisture getting in and rusting out the switch area. This despite their attempts in design to try and water-resist the area. Tried contact cleaner, but the switch beyond repair.

Solar operated stealth light not able to be stealt

This rock looking solar light which I bought to be accent light for a tree gets plenty of sunlight, but light directly from the sun for more than 2-4 hours per day. The light does not come on at night after having been in operation for less than a week
