Would RecommendI wish it was offered in bright white like virtually ALL light switch covers. I went with this particular switch because somebody had already put the same style switch in another room. The light goes out when the dimmer is only 1/2 way down. I would only recommend this if you have an older home that only has a single light switch spot in the wall. If you have 2 slots like most newer homes you can't find a double cover to match the off white color of the switch.

Sticks out too far
This sticks out to far from the wall and doesn't seat in the box all the way. Not because of wires behind but how the metal plate is fabricated. The ground is also located in a bizzare place which conflicts with the box and doesnt match the installation instructions.

Better than having to mess with the cords
Works well but the fan adjuster sometimes gets a little stuck in between speeds. Hopefully it will move more smoothly as time goes on

Not as good as i thought
Would Not RecommendThe speed switch does not click into place for a selected speed. We have to watch the fan to make sure it did not stop because you cannot feel or hear if it was moved to the correct position.

Would RecommendReview of the Wall mounted ceiling fan switch. First off, for clarification, this unit is NOT a remote, it is two slider switches hard-wired to your electrical run to the ceiling fan. That's fine for me as that is what I was needing anyhow. The unit is quite big when installed into the junction box. It will take up quite a bit of room, so plan for that. Would RecommendThis was a new switch for a newly installed Hunter brand ceiling fan / light combination. The installation instructions were simple and straightforward.
