Would Not RecommendEven though it is a “universal” fan switch control, it is not a compatible replacement for my Harbor Breeze UC-9050f wall switch. It’s going back. Lowes didn’t have a compatible switch in-store; I ended up buying the compatible switch with an online service with next day delivery

HB Universal Ceiling Fan/Lt Remote- Deluxe version
I cannot tell you if this worked or not as I didn't have the correct wiring to be able to use it. Be sure that you open your original switch to see what wires are available BEFORE you buy it and open the package. It requires 4 wires, I only had two and it was gerry-rigged by the previous owner as well. I had to return it. I ended up using the HB Universal Remote but I sure would have liked the dimming capabilities this offered.

Switches hard to move up and down
Easy to install but switches were hard to push up and down. We ended up removing switch and replacing with another brand.
