A great machine.
Would RecommendThis benchtop jointer does not act like one! And the extension wings really allow for stability on long boards. Solid fence too, and easy to assemble and adjust. Works great with a dust collector.

Just the jointer I needed
Just what I needed. I have a small, garage shop. I have been using a 4 inch jointer on my shop, Smith, but that required a set up every time I used it. I wasn’t too sure about this bench model. I thought it looked kind of lightweight, but I like the spiral type cutterhead. So I thought I’d give it a try. The size the price was great! I couldn’t be more surprised! It does a wonderful job. Great machine. Does what it says it will do!
Would RecommendI've been using this machine for a month now generating my own lumber for furniture making from my chainsaw saw mill. It just works! You do have to adjust the pull out arms every once in awhile though, as they tend to creep downward which will cause a bow in the middle of your board. Great starter jointer
Would RecommendI think this will be a great starter for my small shop. It may not be as robust as a full sized machine but being careful I think it will do the job for me. I was able to square it up rather quickly and it cuts nicely with the new blades on it. Time will tell how this machine does until i need to step up to a full sized machine.
