Amazing Power Tool

This tool is exactly as described and super powerful. I did not have any issues duing use. Changing the string is easy, there is no need to I take cover off.

Weed trimmer

I love this Greenworks pro 80v and it has cut like a champ. Living California where you have cut with a weed trimmer for fire control it gets the job done like my next gas one. No smell of gas it’s quick simple charge to get it up and running instead running to the gas station with prices like these now. It’s a life saver and I would recommend this product. All my products are Greenworks you get hook and buy more.

I've gone all electric with my lawn equipment and I love it ! Greenworks had the best quality and prices. I'd buy a snowblower but I live in Florida.

I purchased the combo blower/trimmer about a month ago. It replaced a gas powered blower/trimmer. I am amazed at the additional power and features of these units that make it a breeze to blow and trim. Much better than gas powered units I replaced.

A truly Professional Tool

Motor and trimmer head are separated. Trimmer head is made of metal. Bump line advance works very well. Even with the strap the device is very heavy. Using an older 40V batt and it lasts long enough to do the yard. Edging with it is possible but you really have to have strong arms. For a Weed trimmer it is EXCELLENT.

This trimmer was longer and heavier than I expected, but was well balanced and easy to use. I'm very pleased with it. Already had the battery and two other tools.

Green really does work!!!

So far it has been a great trimmer. I also own the pole saw and bush trimmer all use the same battery so it makes it easy being on one platform. I like the 14" size as I have a riding mower and there are some places it cant reach so the larger trimming area helps clear those ares and still allows me to get into smaller spaces as well. Highly Recommend any products from Greenworks.

Where are the replacement parts and attachments

Bought this tool and it works great as a string trimmer. I have been looking everywhere for the edger attachment. I have also been looking for a replacement string cap.

80v Trimmer - ran longer than me, but no trigger lock

I had a 4 AH battery from our lawn mower charged and ready to go, so put the trimmer together and put it to work. I was a little dismayed that after 1 hour on 14" setting and lower speed the trimmer was still going strong, and I was getting tired. I increased the speed to setting '2', hoping to run the battery down. At 1.5 hours the trimmer was still going, and I had to put it away. My biggest complaint is I could not find a trigger lock setting. I definitely would like to have been able to...

String Trimmer and Leaf Blower Combo

Hard to believe that a battery powered string trimmer and leaf blower could be so powerful but the Greenworks tag team is it !!!!! Love them and looking forward to some of the other products such as the hedge trimmer and cultivator to make my yard work more simple.......

Need something other than suburban lawn equipment.

So far, so good. Unlike most gardeners, I am working a 20-acre small ranch. My weed-eating duties are around a zillion trees, veggie boxes, under livestock fences, etc., beyond the lawn mower requirement of suburban homes. It is working!!! And, I got a blower to finish up. Just wish my blower had a vacuum feature to handle loads of thick, heavy oak leaves.

Good power, poor design.

In order to operate this tool, you need to hold two buttons at the same time(as is the same with all trimmers of different brands), but one of the bottons is sort of aiming sideways, and the other is uncomfortably offset. I have long fingers and big hands and its still uncomfortable for me to hold both buttons down at the same time. If not for this design oddity, I would give it 5 stars. I wish the buttons would be aligned better!

Good & heavy!

Easy to use, but heavier than I anticipated. My left arm holding the motion control bar gets fatigued after a few minutes.

Light weight and easy to use

We purchased this kit along with the 80v self propelled mower and edger about two weeks ago and are thoroughly impressed so far. These tools are relatively light weight and not obnoxiously loud. My husband has only used them twice so far but is very happy so far and that says alot because I had to do some heavy convincing to get him to agree to battery powdered equipment. They feel pretty sturdy so we hope to get several years use out this blower and string trimmer.

Combo a great value with very good performance

Blower is fantastic; super powerful with good throttle control. Trimmer works well, great bump string feed system. Both, however, are heavy and can fatigue hands or arms before completing the job. They are high quality products with just the small ergonomic issue.

The blower is fantastic, very powerful. The string trimmer is very powerful also, but getting the string advancement hasn't been smooth, still working on the best way to do that.
