Power button demands strength

Ordered a new weed eater. Love Greenworks, but this one, I don't know. Had to tape down the ignition button to use the machine! It sticks and I can't engage it to start the machine. Can I return it for one without this defect?

Fresh out of the box review

The trimmer did well at speed lower than my old gas trimmer. iI had plenty of power to cut the tougher weeds, and was a lot quieter than my gas trimmer. Bump feed head worked as expected.

Great trimmer except the bump feed is terrible

Ive had mine for 2 summers now, I love everything about it except the bump feed. Its a double line bump feed but it doesnt have a separator between the two lines so they get tangled ALL.THE.TIME. I've re run the feed pretty much every use and no matter how I spool the thing, its always getting jammed. Greenworks has double line bump feeds with separators and oddly doesnt have one for this model - so I'd actually urge you guys to not get this one and to check for models that have accessory replac...

good with some drawbacks

I bought this to replace a 12" B&D unit for trimming around my landscaping and flowerbeds, and since I have an 80V lawnmower, I thought it made sense. First off this unit is very powerful, and somewhat awkward to use with any precision- its really more of a ranch or farm tool for clearing heavy brush and tall grass, not fine trimming around flower beds. Also, being so powerful, you need to be really careful around your downspouts, edging, deck posts, etc- it will grab an aluminum down spout an...

Good Trimmer

This trimmer is easy to use, not too heavy. I’m not sure how well it would do for heavy duty trimming but typical trimming around the yard is perfect. Would recommend.
