Would Not RecommendI purchased two of these for a new build. One of them is fine, the other continuously calls for fan. Troubleshooting with our HVAC contractor was bad and expensive enough but then the warranty process to try to get a replacement is horrific. Over an hour on the phone with someone in a foreign country with a script that makes you do everything you tried with the HVAC contractor. Would Not RecommendThis thing learns” your lifestyle. What it really does is set your heat to the lowest possible setting whenever it can. You can set it up, but it does what it wants. I wouldn’t recommend the learning one. You’re sitting and getting cold, wondering why. Well the thermostat set itself to 55 degrees. Eco mode. Don’t waste your money.

Worked for one season. 2 of my 4 broke. They want me to buy another one and send them back the broken one. Unacceptable to me b/c who knows if I will be doing this every year. Buy one that doesn't have known issues for years. Steer clear of this one.

Blew Fuse in AC - Cost me $324
Would Not RecommendWorked for 6 months and then a fuse blew and my AC went out. HVAC Tech replaced the fuse and couldn't get the Nest working. They replaced the fuse and put in a regular thermostat for $324. All Google can do is send me a replacement thermostat that I can re-install myself or pay someone to do it. Google said I should have called them first - so they were going to help me replace a fuse? Yeah right. Search for "nest thermostat problems" to see all of the problems these things cause.
